The hotel is just right next to the Tamil area. It is not too noisy. The places to visit are quite convenient. The hotel is managed by a few brothers. Each of them has a smile and is very enthusiastic to solve all my problems. I am not Deliberately praise them, but really feel that each of them has the enthusiasm to take care of this hotel, even if they do not have a pick-up service, but he still arranged for you, there is no extra cost, the hotel room is clean, comfortable, flowers It’s a bit tight to sprinkle, it takes a lot of power to convert, but it’s acceptable! Super Hospitality, amazing rooms and a very very positive vibe to the hotel. The hotel is located in a quaint corner of the happening location of Kathmandu - Thamel. What makes the hotel stand out is the extremely positive vibe that it has to it. It is located strategically, where the Thamel main market area and other happening areas are at a small walk, yet.. no traffic noise ever visits your ear when you're inside the rooms. The cherry on the cake is the the hospitality displayed by the staff and specially Mr Pathak is absolutely stupendous and perhaps one of the best ever. A highly recommended place.

I had the privilege of staying at the Potala Guest House for more than a week with a team of 10 friends including myself and 9 foreigners. Our stay there was pleasant, fulfilling and full great memories of great staff members, their humble service and availability to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Located at the heart of Thamel, yet peaceful and spacious rooms facing gardens makes this property a desirable one. Its Operation Manager, Rinjen Lama, who has the joy of serving and highly professional in his dealing, is always available for the service of the guests. He has well-managed other staff members that they are always there for you to make your stay a lovely one. It has been just 3 days my friends left, but, one of them has contacted me and asked that we should book the hotel very early lest we may not get to stay. Additionally, their restaurant attract you for desirable cuisine with quiet and comfortable place. During our stay, we enjoyed almost every meal there. In regards to the price, you won't get such property and facilities in the price they offer. Your first impression will draw you there time and again. I have brought my whole family to stay there and my family also loved it.

When I visited the Everest Road, I stayed as an inn of Kathmandu. As a result, it was cozy and stayed at this hotel until the return flight after returning from Everest Road. The friendly attitude of the staff and the cleanliness of the room are a good impression. I think the momentum of the shower is different depending on the room, but I could use hot water without problems. The location is in the Tamel District, so it is noisy outside, but the room is quiet and calm. I visited the Swayanbunat Buddha Pagoda and the Narayanhiti Royal Palace on foot from here. I don't stay at other hotels in Kathmandu, but it is recommended.
