Stayed here for 9 nights, loved the service and sound proof rooms. The dinner and breakfast chefs were amazing and the location of hotel is part of Chaya centre which has a amazing coffee spot called Arabica coffee!! Once we gathered our bearings around Thamel, shopping and external restaurants are very easy to walk to and enjoy. When using taxis we saved so much downloading Pathao so we did not have to negotiate on price and get overcharged. Highly recommend Aloft in Kathmandu and they are great ambassadors of the Marriott name and brand!

The hotel is newly renovated and the bedding is new and clean. The front desk staff are very good, enthusiastic and thoughtful. Many of them have been trained in Sanya resort hotels and can speak some Mandarin. The restaurant on the first floor even helped us make instant noodles for free🍜 Recommended, will stay here again next time There is a SPA in the hotel, and guests can get 15% off. The technique is very good, but there are only three essential oils to choose from: lavender, ylang ylang and eucalyptus.

Must be praised, the staff is very friendly. Breakfast-included, breakfast is very simple, there are eggs and milk tea, it feels good. It’s really comfortable to talk about the hotel’s air conditioning again. Very cool. It’s great to sleep. The price is also relatively high, so I recommend everyone to live. There is a convenience store nearby, and the room also provides drinking water, which is great. I will stay here again in Nepal next time.

The bedding in the room is good, the pillows are soft, and there is a pillow that is very comfortable. Two different pillows are great. The sheets are neat and the bedding has no smell. I stayed twice - before and after trekking. The staff were always helpful and worked hard to fix issues. The issues included non-working air conditioner on the first visit and no hot water early in the morning on the second visit. (The water was hot later in the day but I was not able to take a shower before an early flight.) They held my luggage during the trek for no cost and I was able to recover some lost items from their lost and found. The location is great and easy to get to most of Thamel on foot. The rooms are nice and mostly clean but my sheets were worn with at least one small hole. They also provided a couple of bottles of water which was helpful especially for brushing teeth.

The favorite boutique hotel in this trip has only a total of 30 rooms. The staff can take care of everyone. Each piece has been carefully designed. Copper handmade utensils and wooden handmade furniture are everywhere. The minibar can be used without stopping, and the breakfast is very rich and the restaurant tastes good. And the staff were very friendly and impressed me. I highly recommend this boutique hotel to all.

Having booked to use Pilgrims as my base from which to start my adventure in Nepal they provide comfortable rooms, a restaurant, great rooftop and relaxed garden area in a great location within Thamel. The restaurant is a great place to eat local and even some home comforts. As for my return from the Mountains I was stranded by the lock down following the covid-19 outbreak. They kept the guest house open for all the stranded travellers and made sure we were comfortable, well looked after and up to date on the latest news. The staff make this place. They are very welcoming and cannot do enough for you. Highly recommended!

This hotel is on a little side street off the main tourist street in Thamel, Kathmandu. Very easy walking distance to souvenir shopping, trekking equipment, the Garden of Dreams, and many restaurants. Yet, you hear none of the noise you would expect in a busy place! The room was very comfortable with a spacious private bathroom. The staff, especially Karma and the housekeeping staff, were extremely helpful and kind. Many people who are trekking to the Himalayas stay here, but also families and couples who are visiting as tourists. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here (4 nights).

Been here 2 times and this property will always be my first option when it comes to booking hotels in Thamel. I have had the worst experience with other hotels but not Norbulinka. The staffs are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is delicious and for my second visit I wanted a room decoration and Norbulinka provided me with the best room decoration I had ever seen. It was really beautiful. Everything is good including the location, comfortable rooms, cozy beds, and delicious meals. It's very quiet and peaceful at night, really like the location.
