所在位置好，門前就是245省道，越過公路就到了黃河邊，距離小浪底水利樞紐風景區衹有1.4公里。夜裡周邊很安靜。老闆比較熱情。但客房設施老舊，衞生狀況差強人意（入住普通標準間）。洗浴用水可能是太陽能加熱，放了很久水才熱。屋裡有一台看上去高大上的燒水器，但各種按鍵無論怎樣按都沒反應，衹好下樓到廚房打開水。餐廳菜餚品種多，口味不錯，價格合理，菜量大，很多遊覽小浪底景區的人專程到他家吃飯。生意太火了，導致飯點上菜慢，一碗白菜豆腐湯等了半小時，催促了五六次。住店可以免費早餐，但是説是7點供應早餐，早上問廚房人員，要到7:30才能吃上。因為趕着去龍門石窟，衹好不在他家吃早飯了。
