Hallim Park/Hyeopjae Beach
not for everyone but perfect for us. Aguila hotel isa very small hotel (not more than 30-40 rooms is my guesstimate) located on the north side of the island which is away from most of the large scale hotels of Sogwipo in the south. it is in fact on an old fishermen's village land facing but not quite on the seashore as restaurant/cafe are located right in front. the entire strip is lined with hipster cafes and restaurants and a 10 min walk either way take you to surfers paradise or the old Fisherman's village. we had the private jacuzzi room which was excellent. the service is minimal so don't expect a 4 star treatment but there are enough super cool places around to make up for it and the rooftop pool is great! the price is correspondingly really really affordable so you can really enjoy as much food or activities as you wish. the island is super easy to navigate and Jeju-do residents (not always from Jeju as we find out many fled Seoul city lifestyle to settle here) are super friendly and welcoming so no issues to get around at all even if you don't speak Korean apart from a few words learnt from K-Drama. in short loved Jeju and found Aguila very refreshing !

Hallim Park/Hyeopjae Beach
The facilities are clean, the location is quiet, and it is a good location for a walk. You can feel the residence of Jeju, so it's good to walk around the hostel. It covers Hyeopjaepo-gu - Hyeopjae Beach - Geumneung Beach - Hallim Park by walking, and it is good to take a bus from downtown Hallim to Panpopo-gu and Sinchang. Although the price of the restaurant is very expensive, it is the price of the tourist attraction that can be covered. If you go out of Hanlin city, there are many cheap local Korean restaurants. One day can take a bath, clean and friendly.

Hallim Park/Hyeopjae Beach
The resort has been around Jeju for years, so the rooms are a bit old, according to local taxi drivers. The advantage of this hotel is that the room is very spacious, with an oversized outdoor pool and a lot of public space, including lawns and parking, suitable for family outings, is a traditional resort configuration. The room also has a balcony that can be used to dry clothes that will get wet when playing on the beach. The view is more open. It is very suitable for a family of three to come out to play. The price is also reasonable. I came in mid-September. The price of about 240 yuan a night will have a small floating. A room can sleep three people. Together, one person will be more than 80 yuan. It is still very cheap. The hotel breakfast is 30 yuan. It generally needs to be paid separately. I was looking forward to it. I thought it was a buffet, the result was abalone porridge and three cold dishes, although there were few abalone in the porridge, but the taste was quite delicious, and the morning porridge was very suitable for Chinese habits. The hotel offers two bottles of mineral water and toiletries a day, and there is air conditioning and TV in the room. There is also a heater. But the downside is that the hotel is older, the bedding does not seem to be very clean, if you renew the room, you don't take the initiative, they will not give you mineral water and tea and coffee. Although the hotel is close to the beach, it is best to take a taxi when you enter and leave because the road is not convenient. It is easy to get lost when walking and it is more tired up and down the slope. Usually it is about 6000 won and 36 yuan. If you take a taxi, however, this store has a car of its own. When their front desk clerk is free, they can send you, but it needs 4000 won, but it is cheaper than a taxi. There is a canteen in the hotel. But there is no more desolate shopping malls around. The waiters in this store are not enough staff. There are two waiters at the front desk in the morning and evening. If you can find help, you can have this waiter in the whole hotel. They are both front desk and canteen cashiers, and also serve as pick-up and drop-off drivers. When I came, the waiter in the day was very enthusiastic, gave me a lot of advice, and also took the initiative to help me a lot of help. In contrast, the waiter at night was really bad, asking him what was a high-hanging look, and all kinds of face to the customer. I hope the hotel owner pays attention to the quality of the staff. Overall, the hotel is still very cost-effective, 10 minutes drive from the beach.
