A frequent guest at the Sheraton Jeddah, I have always been impressed by the genuine hospitality, and extremely friendly, courteous and helpful frontline staff. Led by Samaher and Mohammed in the front office; to Maria and her breakfast team in the Feast restaurant; to Bernardo and colleagues at the bell desk, the family-like environment always makes it a pleasant and welcoming stay. On one occasion, I needed late night medication. Instead of guiding me to the nearest pharmacy, duty supervisor Samaher, without hesitation, drove me to the closest store. Customer service/excellence call it whatever. Amazing. Rooms clean and spacious. Downside: The fitness centre needs an overhaul, especially the Steam Room closed for 12 months 'due to a parts problem' I am told. Difficult to accept. And frequently I have to chase Marriott for Bonvoy points to be credited. So operationally, need to raise the bar. Overall, however, a big thumbs up.
