I checked in on 9/16 with my five year old daughter after a 12 hour car ride. The room was dated but whatever. I woke the next morning with bed bug bites on my left arm and a live bug under my pillow. Front desk came, told me it looked like a mite, and asked what I wanted to do: refund or a new room. I said I have two more very busy days and a clean room is a great start. They gave me a new room with dirty sheets, I was just hoping they were chest hairs. I asked them to replace the sheets while I took my daughter to my sisters to swim and see my family. Unable to get over the chills of bed bugs I went to the hotel to check the sheets and in reality, check out to go somewhere else. The front desk assistant stopped me as I was walking in and informed me the GM Kevin was comping my room. I thought ‘that helps’. I Checked the sheets and they had been changed. I went to the front desk and asked for clarification that the stay of three nights or the one night was compensated. She called the GM in my presence and stated “you will receive enough points for three nights”. Great. Her and I go to my room and check the mattress together to verify there’s no visible evidence of bed bugs in the new room. We’re good. I stay seeing as I already have the swollen, red, sweltering bites and it’s three nights earned. I appreciated the way the front desk assistant and the GM were handling the situation. The staff after the first day were rude, inconsiderate, and it always felt like you were interrupting them. I asked a front desk assistant Kevin for a fridge to put my daughters milk in, he laughed like I was asking for something outrageous. I had been told by the GM the day before that they could provide one. I was kind and patient and told them to please see what they could do. They absolutely did not give it a second thought. It wouldn’t have stung so bad if the situation was different. I had stayed four nights in June and encountered the staff attitude and subpar standards. I stayed again because it’s a Hampton and we use them often. I would have stayed again this week if this hadn’t have played out the way it has, but I’ll never stay here again. I have called and spoke with Kevin the GM and was assured he put the points in himself and they would show up. The next day 1,000 points showed up instead of 90,000 points. My husband called and was given the run around by a very rude assistant manager. Multiple phone calls have been exchanged. One phone call confirmed the hotel still has bed bugs. We have now been told we will receive 30,000 points for the one night with the bed bugs and that should be good since the other two nights didn’t have bed bugs. I’m sitting here looking at the bite areas, still pink and healing two weeks later, thankful my five year old wasn’t effected, and hoping no one else’s kids are.

Friendly staff, easy check-in and out, clean rooms, fairly quiet for being a weekend stay busy with families. There was a pool and breakfast in the morning but since I didn't use either service I can't comment on them. My only glitch was since I paid online through a booking site I didn't have to pay at the hotel but needed to use my credit card to hold a 150.00 deposit incase of damage but an hour late I got an alert that my card was charged the whole cost of my room again so I called down to the desk and spoke to the woman who checked me in and she got it corrected immediately. I would definitely reccomend this hotel and would stay here again myself.

Clean, spacious and cost-effective! The breakfast is really low, similar to no restaurant! The pool is so small.......

Hotel was good, good location for where I needed to go, first time stay at Tru and boy what a disappointment. Go downstairs for breakfast and asked staff who was laid back on sofa, where are the eggs? She replied in a not so friendly way there are no eggs today, no explanation no nothing. Last time I will stay at this chain, all hotels in area serve breakfast with eggs, if it is an order issue the manager should be reprimanded, if a staff didn't feel like making eggs issue the manager should address it. I thought I went to a third tier chain motel!

travel takes me to many locations with the opportunity to stay at a broad range of hotels. I was here for only one night, but have to say this this one of the best hotel experiences I have had in quite a while. The hotel is new so not yet subject to the wear and tear of time. However, one can tell that there has been an attention to detail to keeping this place spotless for guests. The lobby is spacious and well-lit with plenty of seating for dining or lounging with colleagues. Breakfast was prepared to order and very good. The lobby has some additional seating areas that offer some privacy which I used to conduct some work while hanging out there. The room was perfect - modern, clean, and comfortable. The service was outstanding from the moment I arrived for check-in, asking for help with local restaurants, and the bistro. Lea (sp) was particularly helpful. This hotel will become my go-to location to stay in Jackson in the future! Highly recommend.

No dust. Every time I have been there for the last five years I've been living here it has been a whirlwind of fun. All of the windows were wiped and bed sheets were freshly washed including new pillow cases they put in there for us before we got there
