Orientbank Hotel Istanbul, Autograph Collection

Fatih Istanbul|0.33km from Sirkeci Train Station
Even before we arrived, the Orientbank Hotel was providing great service. I emailed with hotel staff in advance of our trip to arrange car service from the airport, and they were very helpful. Once we arrived, late at night after two long flights, we were greeted at the hotel with such warmth and care. While checking in, I mentioned that we were tired and hungry, as our second flight hadn't served any dinner, and the front desk team put together a bag of sandwiches and snacks for us to take with us to our room. It was such a kind gesture and totally indicative of the quality of service at this hotel. Everytime we came and went, the lobby team asked us how we were and if there was anything we needed. Doors were held open with a smile. I asked for advice on using a kiosk to buy an Istanbulkart, since we wanted to make the most of public transit, and the front desk staff walked me through the process in detail. Everyone here was just so very nice, in a way that felt genuine and lovely. Huge thanks to all of the staff at Orientbank Hotel -- you are all amazing! Our room was on the fourth floor and was generously sized and nicely decorated. Water was provided in the room, which I always appreciate. We were perfectly comfortable and slept very well. In the mornings, we took advantage of the amazing hotel breakfast. The Turkish Breakfast comes with an incredible amount of food, but it was all delicious and offered such a great array of choices. It felt really indulgent and special. We also had dinner at the hotel on our last night there, and it was delicious. Don't miss going up to the rooftop. The view is spectacular. I loved that this hotel was so convenient to every place we wanted to go. It's right around the corner from the Egyptian Market, and just beyond that you can get the tram or the ferry anywhere in Istanbul. We were so glad we chose this hotel, and it made our stay in Istanbul even more memorable. If returning to Istanbul, I would definitely stay here again.

AHG Atlas Hotel Taksim

Taksim Istanbul|2.75km from Sirkeci Train Station
I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

Sirkeci Family Hotel & Spa

Sirkeci
Just to share our experience - we were more families, with kids (some pretty small). We reserved on booking with free cancellation, but the money were withdraw well in advance to our trip. Not the initial conditions, but we were decided to go. The day of our reservation, we called and the reception told us there were no rooms for us available. They seemed to have a technical problem with the water.... After long talks on the phone they redirected us to another hotel, more distant to the main street and with other room configuration. E.g we paid for a 4 persons room and we got 3 persons rooms + a place in a different room. So, our suggestion is to pay attention, both to money taken in advance and to where you will end up sleeping.

All gave a perfect score, the facade was not very conspicuous, but after I became familiar with it, I found it right next to the visitor center and it was convenient to the Galata Bridge and the Yeni Mosque. The only regret is that the Yeni Mosque is under maintenance, and it is outsourced inside and out. I would like to praise the younger brother at the front desk. The service attitude is very warm. When I arrived, I helped my luggage and sent it to the room. I didn’t ask for a tip. The scenery on the top of the building is very good. The only regret is that it is now wrapped up, and the photo is separated by a piece of glass.

Hotel we liked. Choose closer to the sea to make everything close. The hotel is clean , neat. The hotel is not expensive 700 lira for 3 days/2 nights . 2 adults+1 child. Clean every day. Snow-white shirts, beds comfortable. Breakfast is included. Minus one) for us is small.. no view from the window . The window into the well from houses and air conditioners) We in the room only slept, for a couple of days a great option. So the view from the window was not needed. On the contrary, nothing is heard to sleep. Dade mosque which is next to you. Air conditioner and batteries are there. We didn't regret... Nearby We walked. ✔topkapes. ✔ Palace Dolmabahce (this is the best I've seen in life. 100 times cooler than Hermitage) .go by tram 10 minutes. ✔yayasophia. ✔blue mosque. . ✔ Baselic tank. ✔ Feodosia tank. ✔ Egyptian bazar. ✔ Just go there as on bus, 1.90 Travel. ✔ Archaeological Museum ✔ embankment ✔ Galata Tower ✔ Bridge with restaurants and cafe... . Restaurant from the hotel deliciously feeds. Dined there sometimes. Shops/cafes on every step. Before the sea 5 minutes. .

The sofa bed is comfortable, so it's great for 3 people, including a child. The floor is clean enough to take off your shoes and walk barefoot, and both the bedding and the bathroom are clean. This was my 5th time in Istanbul and the room was really spacious and clean. It's a 1-minute walk from T1, and there are many restaurants nearby and PTT is close by. The reception lobby is small, but it's no problem at all and they're always friendly :) If you're sensitive to noise as the tram passes right in front, you should think about it!
