This hotel is well located to bright summit peak and turtle peak, ideal for watching sunset and sunrise. They recommended that we watched sunrise from bright summit peak, and therefore, we should go to turtle peak for sunset, and we were very lucky to witness both! We booked a triple room. The room was a good size, although the bathroom was on the smaller end. The only downside was the room was quite cold, despite the radiator being on full power. There were extra blankets in the room for that purpose. The service was otherwise impeccable: we were given ginger tea on arrival, we were shown to our room (albeit it was outside the main block), the hotel supplied down jackets and torches for sunrise the next morning. They called us to inform us that there were a lot of visitors on the summit, and to leave earlier the next morning for sunrise to get a good spot. We were also given snacks, fruit and a free coffee the next morning for our descent. Breakfast was a buffet and there was a good variety of food.

Finally brought my family to Huangshan. Booked a 4 bed room at Xihai hotel, it is much better than expectations. Automatic warm toilet seats with bidet function. Overhead projector in one of the rooms. Warm and responsive service from guest butler Sanbao（三宝）, issues (toilet seat remote controller battery and room temperature) reflected were resolved quickly and satisfactorily. Hotel staff are very friendly and courteous, hotel front desk, doorman and morning breakfast staff.

My husband keith and I reaaly enjoyed our stay at Vienna I H south gate. The staff were very helpful with information about places to visit. We also appreciate their information with buying tickets, arranging local travel and local foods. I would be happy to recommend the Vienna as the place to stay in Tangkou. Hong Griffiths.

Excellent mountain top hotel in Huangshan range, about 20 min hike from the top of yungu cable car. Our rate included dinner, breakfast and cable car tickets; recommended as there are not so many places to buy food. Of the mountaintop places we tried this one had the best food. Which is all the more impressive as food is carried up by foot on the backs of porters (who you'll see on the trails). Props to Ms. Xiao Jiang for her friendly service and taking care of us!

What made our stay here amazing wasn't only the comfortable beds, spacious room and delicious breakfast, but the wonderful manager (I believe her family name is Tan, forgive me if I forgot) and her polite and helpful staff! Firstly, our reservation was at ”SWEETOME Hotel”, but they decided they were no longer allowing foreigners to stay at their hotel (even with covid tests and green health codes). Fine, that's their ignorant decision to make, however, the problem was we were told this on arrival at check in. How unprofessional and thoughtless of them! Thankfully, Trip called around and this hotel seemed to be the only one taking foreigners, we were of course relieved. At this point our expectations were very low and I was thinking of cancelling the trip at leaving the next day, but the warmth and friendliness of the manager and all the staff we met at check-in and afterwards as well as the comfy room made us stay and enjoy Huangshan for 3 days. I'll definitely stay here again and will most definitely recommend to my friends. The location, amenities and cleanliness are also all perfect! Well deserving of 20 stars!! Thankfully that other place turned us away!

Amazing stay! Located right beside Taiping cable car, superb location for my elderly parents who preferred not to walk too far to get to the hotel. Service staff was excellent too - we had 2 family members who fell sick and couldn’t stay. She helped us to sell it to another guest so that we at least had a partial refund for the night. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the J. Mountain hotel was beyond our wildest dreams. I rarely leave reviews but our 3 nights here were so stunningly exceptional that we felt driven to express our gratitude and appreciation for the stellar staff, service, and beautiful setting of this hidden gem of a hotel. The service was without exception some of the best if not the best I have ever experienced at a hotel, and I travel often, having visited over 20 countries in the last few years alone and stayed at many beautiful and well-known five-star hotels and brands. Despite being a very young hotel (having just opened in September) J. Mountain Hotel holds its own and then some. It began months before our stay when we reached out to the hotel on WeChat to ask for guidance on equipment, tickets, and transportation. As we are visiting from America the area isn’t necessarily the easiest to access or plan for. Responses were almost immediate no matter when we reached out and always went above and beyond. For instance, my mother is nearly 70 and although very active was worried about slipping and falling while hiking in icier conditions; they offered to even purchase crampons for us should we wish although they advised us we would not need them for the time of year we were here (they were right). While here their thoughtfulness included texting us updates on and warning us about inclement weather while we were hiking around Huang Shan (there is cell service), drying and fluffing our wet gear when we returned from a particularly wet hike, and most astounding of all resolving an incredibly stressful issue we had with an upcoming flight that had been canceled (they suggested and secured alternative means of transport to a second city and then arranged for a different flight with the airline directly). We must specifically give our thanks to Hotel Manager Ryan, who is young but clearly extremely talented and excels in his role. He not only oversaw and proactively sought to help us on every front but was responsible for resolving our flight emergency. He also clearly had directed staff to help us to their utmost ability at all times, including having breakfast and dinner ready for and served to us at the times we requested. Ryan also personally met us and gave us a tour of the hotel and its history and design, as well as accompanied us to the art gallery and an evening tea tasting held in the gorgeous tea house on the grounds. He checked in with us every day and night and made sure everything was to our liking. Driver Wang Kai was our personal chauffer throughout the stay and was extremely courteous, professional, and attentive; he was always there to pick us up and see us off at multiple locations throughout our trip and not once were we ever allowed to wait. He even brought us hotel slippers and large down jackets to change into out of our soaking wet gear when picking us up at the end of a hike. When we said we did not think we would need some of the gear they offer their guests, we noticed he packed it in the car just in case we changed our minds and needed them later. I could literally go on and on but wanted to make sure I left room to appreciate how beautiful the hotel itself is and how much attention to detail has gone into its design and planning; at almost every turn we discovered something that added to the ease, enjoyment, and comfort of our stay. J. Mountain Hotel, thank you for one of the best experiences we have had in many, many years.

The front desk service of the hotel is very good, the rooms are clean, the facilities are advanced, and there are smart devices. Especially the hotel’s travel housekeeper, Miss Xie, is very professional. We designed a travel route based on our specific situation and found us an equally excellent tour guide in Xiaojiao. It was very convenient to sign up for a group tour at the hotel for the first time, saving a lot of trouble. What is worth praising is that the location of the hotel is really good. It is very convenient. You can just walk across from the transfer station in the scenic area. There is a large parking lot in front of the hotel. Parking is free when you stay in the hotel. Overall, it is very good and a very good stay experience.

I've been back for a few days and haven't commented yet. I want to review this. This is the best and most affordable youth hostel I've ever stayed in. The people in the hotel are very nice and the service is very considerate. I took my luggage when I first arrived. The box was relatively heavy, so the lady helped me carry it upstairs. She was really enthusiastic. The Anhui cuisine cooked by my aunt was really delicious and satisfied my stomach. The boss was also very easy to get along with and taught us his experience. Don’t open a B&B or speculate in stocks🙈I stayed there for three days in a row. I can’t bear to leave. The environment is also great. I made a lot of friends there. If you go to Huangshan City, you should go to this store. There is also this store at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, and there is also this store in Hongcun Village, Xidi. shop, I'm already thinking about coming to this shop again next time. I hope the boss's hotel business will get better and better👏👏👏👏👏👏I have recommended this shop to my friends😽

Highly recommended! We checked into this store on Tunxi Old Street after climbing Huangshan Mountain. First of all, the store is brand new. It is very conspicuous and easy to find. After entering the gate, you still have to walk a short distance to the lobby, but I was pleasantly surprised that it has a rain-proof design and a large slope for easy pulling of suitcases. This detail is very impressive. It is also something that many similar hotels don’t have. Then there is the lobby, which is clean and bright. The self-service check-in machine can visually see the distribution of hotel rooms and then select available rooms. We didn't want to walk around with our luggage, so we chose a room close to the elevator. In particular, I would like to mention that the lady at the front desk is very gentle and patient. Then the room was very clean, with all floors, no carpets, and no strange smell. This room is the most satisfactory hotel room design in our Jiangxi and Anhui travel route. The toilet and bathroom sinks are large enough and well laid out. There is also a carefully arranged small table for making tea and drinking tea. Tea sets and tea leaves are all prepared. Because we were in a hurry, we didn't have time to eat breakfast. There is also a breakfast shop next to the hotel which is good. One more thing, because I was short of water while climbing Huangshan Mountain, I asked the hotel for water, and found that there were six bottles of pure water in the room! Thumbs up! All in all, it is a very surprising hotel and the price is super cost-effective! A heartfelt recommendation from a guest.
