Khao Takiab
This small, idiosyncratic boutique hotel is situated to the south of Hua Hin in a quiet location. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our room (“a Pearl Suite”) that was spacious, clean and very well appointed. Standards of housekeeping were high, and all the staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast service was generous and unrushed. The hotel affords direct access to the beach, and once the tide goes out, it is perfect for late afternoon swimming or for strolling along the coast. There are 2 minimarts and a few eateries within walking distance and the main town is a short journey by taxi/minibus. An improvement would be the provision of an ice-making machine that guests could access, and some mosquito mitigation measures for the balconies. Also, perhaps the welfare of the distressed, howling dog that seemed to be incarcerated on the adjoining plot of land could be investigated; we did mention this to a member of staff and she agreed the noise was a problem. Overall, we enjoyed our time in this classy, well managed and relaxed little resort.

Cannot fault this hotel and even though this was the first time, it certainly will not be the last. Very friendly and helpful staff from the outset. The room was perfect and exactly what we booked poolside. Good sized room with a huge shower and all the usual extras. Clean and fresh throughout. Breakfast was great with a wide selection to choose from for all tastes. The chef did an extremely tasty scrambled eggs for me! Location is ideal with a short walk to Bluport and a bus/taxi stop right outside. Looking forward to staying there again at the end of November.

De Chaochom Hua Hin

Wonderfully small 'resort'. There are only a few houses, but even the surrounding area (plants, use of materials) is perfectly created. Very wonderful to see. When arrival warmly received. The smallest (in this offer) house with private pool booked. Great house whatever really matches the photos on the site. You look from your bed on your private pool. The house is also tastefully furnished. Large spacious bed, air-conditioning, refrigerator and bank in the bed/ living room. Spacious room to make up and store bags. Net with shower products (including sliced) also available. Bathroom is very beautiful. Good shower. The bathroom also looks forward to your swimming pool. The first day for some periculous (not because of the hotel!) some help to the reception. We were very nicely helped. Nothing seemed too much and this was noticeable throughout the stay. Breakfast in the room or something later, no problem! A drink as everything was close, no problem! Very nice, friendly and correct staff! Only for all that reason we really have been able to enjoy luxury. Privacy was only a little difficult occasionally.. The hotel was very friendly and was very friendly and was very friendly. While we just indicated that we were ready in an hour. Beautiful on the beach, unfortunately not to lodge due to the flood. Location is very green, beautifully calmly located, a lot of privacy and well cared. No screams from children, no noise overall. Breakfast is good, freshly prepared and a lot of fresh fruit. Dining is OK, but not ready for repeat. I thought (own mistake) the pool would be a little bigger. It's more like a giant bath, it's a fine depth. Bikes could be borrowed free. Seem beautiful, but they're a little cracky. It was driven behind us with a sun paraplu, real service. The restaurant is very small (in somewhere else breakfast), it does not seem really pleasant to sit. It doesn't eat here. It enjoys the quiet and romantic stay here.

The Lapa has a quite unique location, right next to the new BluPort mall. Free parking in front of the hotel. The rooms are amazing, murals on the walls, brightly coloured tiles in the very modern bathroom. Showers tall with lots of space. Very comfortable beds, fridge and safe deposit box in the room. A kettle with coffee and tea provided. It's a really cozy room, with a sitting area at the window. Very clean and freshly painted. Breakfast was good, nice extra is freshly blended fruit juice, which you can chose at a little stall. This is a pet friendly hotel, so we met people travelling with their cats and a couple who brought 2 Yorkshire terriers. Unfortunately they yapped for while whilst the owners went for dinner, but all quiet at night 😊 A really nice place to stay, if you have a car it's not far from the beach or the Cicada Market.
