Ocean Guest House

The location was great. The owner is a nice person. Overall it was ok to stay. I stayed 6 nights in the private room with private bathroom. The wifi ****** big time. Downstairs of the building is a small city itself. You can find restaurants, money exchange places, shops and etc. And if you are hungry, the next door there is Cafe de Coral, with cheap food, good wifi, and you can pay by cash, credit card and Octopus card

Hotel located at 15th floor of Block A. Go up and down of lift was a long wait as there are only 2 lifts, each serves alternate floors. Room is small at 4m2, but I reckon that’s what I paid for. Could have chosen a bigger room with windows and pay for it. Hotel owner very kind and easy to talk to. Generally quite a good experience staying in Chungking Mansion.

The accommodation is very clean and the staff is very nice. I will definitely book again when I go back to Hongkong.

For downtown Hong Kong, this hotel was adequate. The Receptionist was helpful and provided a towel, toothbrush and toilet paper. The TV worked fine and The bed was comfortable. If you’re on a budget, I recommend that you stay at Ocean Guest House.

For a cheap place to stay right in the middle of Kowloon, this is a great choice. First, the location is the main benefit. You’re in Tsim Sha Tsui, right at the end of the Kowloon Peninsula and near both the MTR and the Star Ferry. You can easily get anywhere in Kowloon or Hong Kong Island. Having said that, accommodation is barebones. The rooms are very small and spartan. This, to be clear, is exactly what you should expect at this price point when staying in Hong Kong. If you expect some luxury, don’t come here! Spend more money to stay elsewhere! But if you can live without luxury and want to save cash, this is a fine choice! I’d stay here again!
