Was recommended Intercon and it did not disappoint. Enjoyable stay for a girls' weekend and birthday trip. The hotel's location is the best- right across the Book Street, Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office and a short walk to a street full of lovely cafes and restaurants and a slightly longer walk to the City Hall and Opera House. We were given a room on the 15th floor with a great view. Beds were very comfortable. Service was friendly and prompt. We will return!

The 2-bedroom apartment we stayed in was large and a great space for my family of four. The facilities were very nice but the service is excellent. We would like to thank Handsome Van at the front desk along with every person at the front desk for the next level of service they provided. I really was blown away by the great service we received from the doorman to the servers to the drivers to and from the airport. It has been 5 years since I have been back to Vietnam and the service at the hotel was spectacular. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! They really made my stay wonderful. Overall the service and rooms were pretty good, however there was a little embarrassing moment at check-in when they asked the me to write down on paper the name of my girlfriend when she was already on the booking. They proceeded to tell me that it is okay this time only, but next time I need to book an extra room for my girlfriend. It was really embarrassing and I was actually kind of offended. I won't be paying for an extra room next time just quietly, If I am turned away I will take my business elsewhere.

We chose the Somerset Chancellor due to it’s location and the ability to comfortably fit our family of five. The apartments are relatively basic but clean and comfortable with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment, we did need help with plane tickets and the team on the desk were great, helping us work through. The convenience store attached to the hotel was very handy!

I really enjoyed the stay. The hotel is located in the center of District 1 and was easy to go everywhere. The hotel staffs were very friendly and kind. It was good that they can communicate in English! The room was spacious enough for 2 persons and very clean. One thing I didn't like is that they missed turn down services once. F&B was also amazing. Their food was great.

We stayed here for a week in a garden view room. The great: The room was clean big & very comfortable. The breakfast changed their hot food daily and the egg station did a large variety of cooked eggs as requested. There was also a Bah Mih station. The service was fantastic and the people very friendly. People or bikers watching was fascinating especially at night. Close to everything. We walked to all of the attractions War museum, independence palace, shopping centres, city mall, post office, opera house (out front) everywhere. Hop on Hop off bus is out front. The not so great: On both evenings of the weekend their were weddings. BIG weddings. The hotel gave us free cocktail voucher (1 each) or a full day & night of noise. Bad drunk Karaoke is not worth 1 cocktail. We had to empty our suitcase & remove the laundry bag we were using for our dirty clothes before we could leave the hotel. I know we should not have removed, but just picked it up without thinking and placed in the suitcase. There was no option to pay for it, we had to give it back. In the foyer.

Since Ho Chi Minh often goes on business trips, I think it is a suitable hotel for business trips as a result of visiting about 10 hotels. 1. The price is reasonable, and the breakfast is good compared to other hotels in this price range in District 1. 2. It is good to sleep because the surroundings are quiet at night. 3. As it is a nationwide chain hotel in Vietnam, it is clean and there are many English-speaking staff, so communication is not a problem. 4. I have little fitness, but it is difficult to do simple exercises. 5. The room size is small and the wifi works well 6. There is a Somerset Hotel right in front, and the coffee shop on the first floor is a famous chain store. It is very delicious. It takes 15 minutes to walk to downtown District 7.1 and takes a taxi for 5 minutes and 30,000 dong. 8. It is right behind the Central Post Office, the Ho Chi Minh sightseeing course.

We booked the hotel last minute via Expedia , paid around AUD225 per night for 4 people in a window family room (2 queen beds in one room) including breakfast. The room was on level 7 on a corner. The room was comfortable, clean and sufficient space, however it’s not overly spacious. Free bottles of water provided and some free fruits. Bathroom is modern and clean. Airco worked well. We had some noise from nearby outdoor music , each night, but didn’t stop us from sleeping. The breakfast was ok, not bad but also not exciting. The hotel lobby is nice, service good and friendly. The swimming pool is very small and rooftop seating minimal. Reason I give this hotel 4 rather then 3 stars is because the location is very central, in a quiet street but close to everything. That combined with a reasonable price makes this hotel a good choice for a few nights in Ho Chi Min City.

I booked Spring House for 2 nights mainly based on the reviews on this site and the Lonely Planet travel guide which said it was a good location and value for money. I contacted the hotel via e-mail, and I'm glad they responded quickly and enthusiastically. The hotel had already arranged for a car to pick us up at the Ho Chi Minh City airport (at an additional cost), but it took us an extra 15 minutes to find their receptionist, which was disappointing. He was sitting far away from the passenger exit, with the pick-up sign on his lap. I didn't see him all the time, and finally found him when I was about to take a taxi in desperation. We stayed in a first level room, the room was clean and comfortable, a decent size with a large window with a great view of the city, but that's about it. Its location is the most commendable, the hotel is adjacent to all the high-end shopping areas and malls, and it is only a few steps away from famous attractions such as the President's Palace and the Red Church. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and while it's not a feast, it's plentiful and tasty. There are several computers available for guests to use. The service at the front desk was friendly, welcoming and efficient. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and helpful, very considerate of my elderly father. There is a very steep staircase at the entrance of the hotel. Every time we went up and down the stairs, someone would immediately come up to help my dad. They are very thoughtful in this regard. I'm so glad I chose this hotel, it's a great value for money compared to the sky-high prices of other hotels. While the setting wasn't great, it was just what we needed - clean and comfortable, and a great location!! However, my impression of the hotel has gotten better and better after this.

Then I told him I reserved 1 Deluxe Double Room had the window, and next he took me to the room like the photo I uploaded. Is this room on this photo actually the Deluxe Double Room? I thought that this room I stayed is different from the photoes on booking sites. I would like to check it out on my next visit.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 💯 I booked for a week with a different hostel only to find out when I arrived that apparently it was cancelled and I have no idea why. So at 3am, I'm scrolling Agoda for a place to stay. This branch allows 24-hours check-in and has available room at that time. So thankful they took me in even though the night attendant pointed out that my passport and Agoda account didn't match. I excluded my second name when I created my Agoda account. So I had to show him my account in my phone and the notifications I received for the booking. Thanks GrandmaLu! ❤️

The google reviews all have good reviews. After staying here this time, I want to share my real experience with everyone. Let’s talk about the advantages of this stay first: 1. The hardware equipment is very new. 2.The room is very clean Now about the disadvantages: 1. There are very few breakfast options. Normally for the price of accommodation, breakfast should not be so simple. The breakfast provided by this hotel is more like the breakfast provided by cheap Vietnamese hotels. 2. Wifi will automatically disconnect at 12 a.m. and will be restored after about 10-15 minutes. 3. The hotel will experience abnormal power outages. I often wake up from the heat in the middle of the night and find that the air conditioner automatically shuts off due to the hotel's power outage and I need to turn it back on again. The scariest thing I encountered during my stay this time was when I finished breakfast in the hotel at 9:30 in the morning and was about to go back to my room to continue resting, the hotel's power went out again. When I saw that the elevator also lost power, I could only be glad that I was not in the elevator. Although the hotel said it would be very fast. There was electricity, but it was out of service from 9:30 until 11 o'clock. I asked friends who lived in a nearby hotel and said that the electricity there was normal. It seemed that it was simply a problem with this hotel. At 11 o'clock, I felt that the hotel experience was too bad and wanted to check out. When I went to the counter to check in, the service staff told me to wait for about 5 minutes for the housekeeper to check the room. After I waited in the sofa area for 15 minutes, I saw that the counter staff was always behind me. I was chatting with a Vietnamese customer. I couldn't help but asked fiercely whether I had finished checking out. The counter staff looked at me and asked, ”Have you taken any drinks from the refrigerator?” When I said no, I was told OK, you can go... This accommodation experience is one of the best. I will not choose this accommodation again in the future.

Located right smack in the middle of District 1. You can walk to Vincom mall in 3min. Opera house is 5min walk away. There’s a few restaurants around the hotel too. Convenience store is around the corner too. The room is big and the kitchen area is great too. For the price and location, I don’t think there’s any better at this range. Will definitely stay here again.
