A small, inexpensive suburban hotel run by a family. It is good for a passage of a few days, a transit to visit Heraklion, or if you are in baroud mode. To be avoided with the family for a relaxing holiday. Indeed, it is in a deserted and dirty district, far from any interest. The beach is a few minutes down a haphazard path, and it's pretty basic. Nothing compared to what you can see elsewhere in Crete in terms of beach. The room was spacious with a nice balcony. Everything was well kept and clean. However it is a bit dilapidated (no shower curtain in particular) and it is the lottery in terms of bedding (one of the 3 mattresses was super hard!) However great welcome by the family who runs the hotel, and the breakfast was good, with, among other things, a homemade omelet by the owner. In short, if you are looking for a cheap room that does the job in a "local" atmosphere, this could do it for you.
