The hotel is conveniently located at walking distance from Central Street, Stalin Park, and People Square Metro Station (that will bring you to the Ice&Snow World and Snow Island). The room was nice and warm (floor heating). Would definitely recommend it.

The room appears much smaller than on the website but is adequate for solo travelling. Although water bottles was replaced daily, dirty tea cups were never removed or washed during my 4 day stay and I had to rinse them in the bathroom. The trash can was emptied every day but they do not make your bed. The shower head was broken and difficult to handle and the mattress topper was too big for the bed and kept slipping off. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was difficult in the sense that the hotel is situated in a very busy main road, with one way direction and few in between passes, meaning taxis must first drive quite far past the hotel before making a u-turn to turn back to drop you. The downside of using Didi's or taxi's are the rude and impatient drivers. They charged extra high fares during Christmas. We were often gridlocked in traffic, ending up walking back 2-4km to the hotel. Overall I was disappointed in the city itself. Many buildings were rundown and neglected with broken windos and peeled paint, that reminded me of *********************. Streets were very dirty and a nearby school did not make traffic congestion any easier when commuting forth and back to the hotel. Rumours that Christmas is not so busy and a better time to be visiting Harbin, is not true. The crowds spoiled the experience at Saint Sophia Church, especially the influencers who dressed up in ridiculous outfits posing in freezing temperatures at the church staircases and corners, spoiling any photography opportunities. Stalls and shops around the Church were very expensive. I visited a few other churches like St Aleksyev and Jile Temple which was far worth the effort. The highlight of my trip was Volga Manor, Baroque Street and the Songhua Railroad Bridge. Sun Island snow sculptures were very enjoyable, easy to navigate and not congested with people. Plenty of space to walk through the park, play in the snow and take the cable car over the river. The ques are not long from the Sun Island side, but crossing over to Harbin's side, the ques were very long to get a cable car. Danny's Beer in the Baroques Street area is a must visit and offered welcoming, warm and delicious food and hospitality. It's a 4,7km hike from the Songhua River bridge and offered good food at very reasonable prices. I did not visit the Ice sculpture park or light shows because of the three hour waiting cues, too many people and slippery conditions. The Tiger park was a so-so experience and mostly annoying due to people teasing the tigers with meat *****s they cannot reach; all for the sake of a photo opportunity. If you are an animal lover, rather skip the tiger Park. Lastly, a big plus was the public toilets near the Songhua River that were impressively clean.

Really excellent location. This is within walking distance of the main train station, but not so close that the area has a seedy feeling. It's also very close to the Saint Sophia church. The desk staff is professional and efficient. Vienna Hotels feel safe and secure even for a solo traveler, which is why I chose them or a Jinjiang Inn when I'm traveling alone. The cleaning ladies are friendly. No English was spoken when I was there, but I feel like the staff would try hard to make themselves understood if you were a foreign traveler. The only downsides are that the breakfasts here are mediocre -- they are more expensive than the Jinjiang Inn ones, but not as good. Vienna Hotels also have carpet, which tends to get a little gross in Chinese hotels. Mine wasn't dirty, but did look worse for wear. My only complaints are the two nitpicky ones above. For sure, if I returned to Harbin for another vacation I would strongly consider staying in this hotel again, and would recommend it to a friend who is on a budget or traveling alone. It's a very good choice if you are visiting Harbin.

Location is perfect, literally meters from the main street. that's pretty much what and all you are paying for. We were in the basic room so expectations were low. I would say it satisfy the basic needs in terms of space and amenities. I mean is a decent place to sleep for the location. However, the room is really small, a bit cold, old and pretty much falling apart here and there. Bed was good, comfortable and soft. Rooms are not soundproof so expect to hear everything going around. However, we were lucky to not have many guests around. Wifi was horrible and slow. Reception was great and the staff at the entrance has been friendly and available with any requests. For the low score to service it is meant to the cleaning. Room was still dirty on the angles when we arrived. Soups were never refilled in the bathroom (not even the hand ones) and we had to ask everytime to get a refill. Feels like cleaning lady entered, put the cover on the bed back in order and left without caring much on whatever was needed to be refilled or cleaned in the room. Barely touching the bottom of the job. Anyway back again, low expectations, decent room, great location. Satisfy the basic requirements and if you get it for a low price might be worth it.

A hotel with good location and cleanliness. The furniture in the room has texture. Why are there bad comments? You can ride a bicycle to Central Street, Red Brick Morning Market, and Sophia Church. It takes about ten minutes to arrive. If I have the opportunity to go to Harbin in the future, I will choose to live here

The location is excellent. It is on Central Street near the Songhua River Flood Control Memorial Tower. Nearby is the famous Lucia Russian Restaurant. When you are tired from shopping on Central Street, you can take a rest, take a nap, recharge your batteries, and then go out to continue shopping. It can be said that it is very convenient. of. The overall appearance of the hotel, lobby, and corridors all look good. However, the double bed room we booked is smaller and feels a bit unwieldy. Larger suitcases are not easy to spread out, and the bathroom is particularly difficult. If there is water leakage, after closing the bathroom door and taking a shower, there will still be a lot of water in the corridor outside the bathroom, making it easy to slip. The hotel staff are very friendly. Traveling with friends, we all felt that this hotel was a good value for money.

This is a budget hotel and I asked for a budget room so my expectations were modest. However, what I received, was below modest from my experience. Room was warm enough and size was tight. Bed was ok but funny round shape. There was no division between bedroom and bathroom which made the shower experience too cold. Also I found a bug in the bathroom (alive). Location was very convenient, but even with that I wouldn’t repeat this hotel.

Shiyi brought his father to Harbin for the first time and planned to spend a few days there. When booking a hotel, he chose this hotel among the many good reviews. It is really the most humane business. When I found that I was looking for it, I happened to be here. The simple but caring and sincere elder sister picked it up. Very average hotel to spend a couple of nights in Harbin without having to spend too much money. A little far from the main attractions so you will have to walk about 20 minutes to get anywhere. The room was clean and we had all we needed. Towels I had thrown on the floor to clean were put back on the window sill to be used again but that is fair enough. My only issue is that the hotel made us pay for a towel that had changed color because of my dyed hair. Supposedly they couldn’t get it clean again. I have this issue at home as well and know that just running it through the washing machine 1x on a normal setting is enough to get them back to white.
