A rather soulless place...and although quiet, it's just a little bit too far out from the main action to walk. Hard to find too many faults though...has a kinda Raffles Colonial vibe...feels new...and is clean. Breakfast buffet very good. Solid gym. Staff formal and efficient...but the place lacks a bit of joy overall. A fellow guest was getting charged for ”dirtying a face towel” as we were leaving. My partner said: ”it feels a bit 'communist'”... which is a nice sum up. Certainly one for any shortlist though.

I was impressed by the service during my check in to the hotel. While they processed, we were given refreshments. Strongly recommend the hotel as it is walking distance about 15 min walk to old city. Morning breakfast buffet is good too as they changes their menu daily.

It's such an amazing time that we spent there. The resort was beautiful and well designed with plenty of tropical trees, large swimming pool and quiet atmosphere. It's the very tough time for hospitality industry, but they still kept their atmosphere quite good. The room was well kept and enough for our stay. However, the electric card was kept on whole day, they could save a lots of money by install door card and electric card in one to reduce the electric usage in the guest rooms.

The service at this hotel was fantastic. I loved the big pool and there were always enough loungers. The kids pool is separate at the back of the hotel. The room over the kids pool was a bit noisy and also from the traffic on the small bridge nearby. The enclosed balconies give good sound proofing at night. Breakfast buffet also very nice with lots of local food selections

Excellent stay for two girls. Hotel was very clean and beautiful. Location was away from the bustling ancient town but it was easy to get a Grab. We also walked back from the old town at night. It was a quiet route most shops closed but we didn’t feel unsafe. I would say the route felt safe but do still be vigilant. The staff spoke good English and there was no difficulty at all trying to communicate. Service was excellent, staff offered to help us to pack breakfast after knowing that we were checking out earlier than breakfast time. When our driver was late, staff was also attentive to look out for our driver by the street and offered to help us call and speak to our driver - all without us asking for help! Breakfast buffet was good and the views from the outdoor seats were fantastic. Highly recommended for a stay if you’re in the area!

We had amazing experience at La Siesta :) Great service from reception Ms Sunny and Ms Lucy for helping us kindly, and bell boy carried all of our luggages. We got a free upgrade to suites room. Also Spa was super nice. restaurant manager and team was gave us good service, great food !! Upon the check out, there was a small issue for the luggages which is the team accidentally didn’t put our luggages inside car, but Ms Lucy and driver help to bring our luggages at the airport. Thank you for great service and follow up to solve problem. For about 500,000 won per night, you can live in a pool villa that will make you feel rich! However, due to poor management during the Corona period, there are parts of the facility that are not well maintained compared to the year of construction. There is peeling of the wooden deck and discoloration of the fabric chairs. Facilities include billiards, table tennis, a kids' club, a gym, and a swimming pool, but compared to Korean resorts, the facilities feel a bit lacking, and it's a shame that there are no convenience stores or supermarkets nearby. The staff are all friendly and greet each other well. However, the English pronunciation was sometimes difficult to understand. But it's good value for money and it's not crowded, so it's great for swimming! Also, the sea sunrise seen from the pool villa is really pretty~

The Old Town is a twenty minute walk or easily accessible by taxi or motorcycle (which you can rent)- the hotel will assist with both. Night time offers the best views and interaction with shop keepers, vendors and restaurants in the Old Town. The people everywhere are friendly and proud of their city. The resort offered a great base to see and experience all Hoi An had to offer.

I like the quiet atmosphere of Anantara, from the lotus pond at the door to the lobby, courtyard, and room. The long corridor basically does not meet other people. There are only a few children in the pool playing in the water. There is only laughter and no noise. After entering the door, the waiter will take the luggage and guide to the lobby to sit and drink while waiting. Instead of going there, the luggage will be delivered directly to the room. What I want is a high-rise room without a lift. The highest floor is the third floor. The rooms are well made, the toiletries are good and the fruits are welcome. Breakfast is upstairs at the SPA. There are quite a lot of varieties, there should be some, the rice noodles are light and delicious. The hotel is built along the river. In the evening, walking along the river is very comfortable. It is a ten-minute walk to the ancient city. Grab can't be called here to Da Nang. The hotel waiter called for a regular taxi.

Stayed for 9 nights in room 421 (family suite) The stay was beyond our expectations The resort is immaculate, the grounds are meticulously maintained. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Mr Thi will happily grab you a fresh coconut straight from the tree anytime he sees you. Vy and Vu and all the staff were really pleasant. The beach is uncrowded and has crystal clear water. If you eat outside the resort you have to go to Ixora restaurant 5 min walk up the road ( best food we had in all of Vietnam)

The landscaping inside the resort is so beautiful. It can be a bit annoying to take you from the entrance to the room, but it's fun! There are more Westerners and quieter than Koreans. The pool is not very large in size but it was just nice to play in the sun. Salmon was served for breakfast, rice noodles, juice, etc., and the menu was changed a lot every day, so it was good to eat variously.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Ms Sarah at the front desk was always ready to offer help and guidance. The hotel offers free bicycles to the guests which is really cool to move around the town. The breakfast offers a wide variety of food choices. Ms Apple at the restaurant really served us well. I was worried because it was a bit far from downtown Hoi An, but it's just a short walk across the bridge, so the location is good because it's nearby. The room facilities are more spacious than I thought. It is ambiguous to say that it is tidy, but it is clean. But the lobby facilities were... not so good. First of all, there is a breakfast room and a swimming pool in the entrance lobby on the first floor. There is no air conditioning, only a fan, but it is not clean. (Don't just leave the cutlery on the table. Put it on the ground) The breakfast wasn't what I thought it would be. ㅜㅜ ah! Beware of cock crows ㅡ It's really noisy... not recommended for those who are sensitive to sleep There is a man always in the lobby who is really kind! When going from Hoi An to Da Nang, tell me in advance and call for a car. I think it was 35000 dong Tip. I have had the good fortune to travel extensively for business or pleasure and Silk Sense Resort is one of the very best places I have stayed…ever! I was originally planning to stay for 3 days but immediately changed plans to extend for an extra night it was that good. The rooms are amazing (I stayed in the King Suite), the property is outstanding and close to the river and the ocean, it is easy to get around and into town either using the resort’s free shuttle or via a Grab, and there are plenty of food options on your doorstep. The staff go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble. A big call out to Dat who drove me to the airport and had a great conversation along the way. I honestly didn’t want to leave…I’ll be back!

This family- owned and operated spot is an incredible value for budget travellers, exceeding our expectations in countless ways. It had what we needed: high standards for cleanliness, comfy beds, and easy access to Ancient Town. We loved the bikes, the water pressure, and most of all, our kind and hospitable hosts. Our family of three had plenty of space, and our 11-year-old felt safe and welcomed. Highly recommend--I would love to see this business flourish!

Great 3 night stay at Coco Viet (Sophie Villa). For the price, it’s great value for money. Clean, comfortable beds, decent bathroom, balcony etc. It is a pretty basic but has all you need as a base. The hotel was a great location for us as we could still walk into the old town but it wasn’t right in the middle which we liked. Tina was very helpful and organised a cooking class which we would highly recommend as well as helped us with bike rental. We cycled to the beach through the rice paddies which was a fun experience. Overall, would not hesitate to stay here again.

When I took out Banh Mi for dinner, they not only let me eat it in the breakfast area in the lobby, but also served me some juice. When my phone wasn't working, she looked for recommended spas and made reservations for me. I didn't have any problems communicating with the staff who didn't speak English because I was able to communicate with them using an interpreter app on my smartphone. There was no elevator, but they helped me carry my suitcase. [Cleanliness] It was very clean, including the water area. [Facilities/Amenities] It's a cute room with stylish furniture. The room had two queen-sized beds that were extremely comfortable. There was an air conditioner and a ceiling fan so it was comfortable. Although I didn't use it, there was also a safe, refrigerator, slippers, loungewear, hats, umbrellas, bicycles, and a swimming pool. 【breakfast】 You can choose as much as you like from a menu of more than 10 dishes, including Western and Vietnamese dishes, and they will cook it for you on the spot. All were extremely delicious. The service was very good, and the location and interior design were good, so it was a hotel that I would want to stay at again. thank you very much! !

Myself and my daughter had a wonderful stay , the owner and wonderful Mr CONG always helpful . We booked all our tours through him , he booked our tickets to Ba na Hills . Told us to down load the Grab App, rooms are reasonably priced so we got a room each for 7 nights . He also arranged our pick up from the airport , Some reviews said bathrooms needed a bit more attention to detail , but it was minor , remember you are not in Europe . Beds are hard but not a problem for us , spoke to other people staying elsewhere and they seemed to be the same , so maybe it’s standard unless you go 5 star . Beds changed every 2 days , but I’m sure Mr CONG would change more if that’s what you required . He runs the homestay himself and does all the cleaning , he is the most delightful host , and always smiling , we woke him up getting home very late one night and he was fine about it 😊 . Only about a 10 min straight enough walk to the river , you get a good nights sleep as the homestay is down a little street , my daughters room had a little balcony so it saved her having to go downstairs to have a cigarette . Fridge , kettle in the room , plenty of hot water at any time , shop down the way where you can get extra water milk etc. We used the grab app to get taxi to Cui Dai beach , there is also An Bang Beach beside it ,

Wow wow wow!!!! We were completely blown away by our wonderful welcome from flower and Robert, what a kind, thoughtful couple they both are and we felt instantly at home. Really appreciated all of flowers recommendations (especially the food!) And Robert went and got us a welcome Banh mi which was so needed after a day of travel. Our room was gorgeous, spacious and spotlessly clean. Bed was so comfy and I had the best 3 sleeps of our 14 night trip here, but that also could be because it felt like we were in a home from home. Location is fantastic, just a short walk to the main town but far enough away that its a bit quieter. I am so grateful that we had the opportunity to stay with wonderful Flower and Robert, and little Lewis 😊 Thank you so much for having us, I couldn't recommend the Lion King Hotel more if I tried. It was by far the best place we stayed in Vietnam.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It's on quite a busy road, so can be a bit noisy. But I still slept well. We were there during the ***** celebrations, so noise was expected. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The laundry service is a reasonable price and the clothes were cleaned, ironed and returned the same day.

To be honest, the hotel service is not very good. Our two girls dragged two large boxes to the door and no one helped us in. No one in the hotel came to help. The threshold is relatively high. We ourselves one by one. I brought it in, and the room opened to us was also very small, and on the first floor, people walked up and down, and the swimming pool slapped the big place. I couldn’t do anything at all. Anyway, everything was average.

In particular, the owner Manh was very friendly and always willing to help me. I greatly appreciate his hospitality during my stay. Make me feel like i am home. Plus all convenience service like : Continental breakfast, borrowed the bike to ride sight seeing the town , full information about HoiAn tour guide where is good restaurant to eat great Vietnamese food . End of my trip he booked the vehicle 🚗 for me to DaNang airport. I will definitely stay at Hoi An Heart Lodge again when i come to Vietnam next . Highly recommend

We loved staying here with it's kooky woodwork wall panels, chairs from tree trunks, and Moroccan bathroom tiles, such a happy change from boring white walls! The location is great, at one end of the street you have a daily night market, at the other a series of little restaurants run from the tiniest of kitchens under a big veranda.Then in the lanes between you and Old Town and the river you'll find an assortment of massage options and as you get closer to the river, bars. The area felt safe to walk around at night with kids playing badminton in the street out the front. We took a fondness to Uncle Dai's boat bar tucked away from the noise by the Dome Theatre. There were lots of options in the breakfast buffet, with pastries, eggs, pho and fruit on offer. The staff were incredible, we were welcomed with a map, suggestions on places we might enjoy and discount options for tailors and shoemakers which was lovely. Be sure to stay a couple of days to get things made so you can roam the town as well.

Welcoming, genuine, comfy, and convenient. We looked forward coming home seeing the dad, sweet elder -- he always greeted us coming in after a long day. Thuy, she was great, she will help guide if you don't have any plans, but I had a full itinerary already. She cooked for us for breakfast, i loved breakfast vs western complimentary breakfast -- this was a new taste I needed. I suggest you try it all, one every day. We stayed here for 1 week, room cleaning service is completed the second you walk out the building because we came back within 10-15 minutes .... and it was clean. crazy. 100% i'd recommend to everyone except for those whom are wheelchair bound, or needs some sort of assistance walking/climbing. No elevators and theres steep stairs. check google photos for pictures.

My stay at Chillax Old Town turned into an absolute nightmare when the shower screen suddenly exploded, leaving me with glass shards embedded in my arms and feet. Shocked and in pain, I had to remove them myself before reluctantly seeking medical help at a dismal facility, Ho An Hospital. The hospital's grim condition—mold, mildew, and rusted medical utensils—amplified the distress of the situation. Adding insult to injury, although the hotel covered my post-hospitalization costs, they callously refused to compensate for the damage inflicted on my personal belongings by the shower screen explosion. Even when I suggested they cover the excess from my travel insurance instead of the exorbitant repair costs, they cited financial inability, despite boasting four business partners. Their promise to chase up the builders for an explanation is simply not enough. Immediate action is imperative, especially with ongoing guests on the premises. The sheer irony of a hotel named 'Chillax' being the center of such chaos is incredibly astounding. Their blatant disregard for guest safety and well-being is utterly appalling. I strongly caution against considering this hotel for anyone valuing peace of mind and personal safety. The thought of a potential recurrence of a shower explosion at any hotel now lingers in my mind, thanks to this distressing experience. The lack of accountability and care displayed by Chillax Old Town, including their failure to cover damages to personal items, is nothing short of unacceptable. PS: the hotel receptionists were trying to assist where possible. However they are only messengers.

The homestay is clean. We got to stay on the highest floor with a balcony and we can see the ancient town from the room. Ancient town is only 2 minutes from the homestay. The family hosting us - their dad, mum, Susan and Key were very friendly. Key even helped us to carry our bags to the 4th floor when we arrived, which we appreciate. They very kindly offered us tea and introduced us to Hoi An ancient town, good food and tips around the area. Besides, the bicycles are free for us to us. The breakfast is amazing and the family even offered us complimentary breakfast for us to as a gift to celebrate our honeymoon together. We were very grateful for this. We also signed up for a tour to My Son at short notice and Susan and Key were great at arranging it for us even though they doesn't have to. Kitchen utensils, water and luggage storage space is available. We will definitely stay here again when we are back. Definitely our favourite town espcially when we are hosted by a really friendly and warm family. Thank you Susan and Key!

However, when I asked an employee at the front desk about taking the bus to Ho Chi Minh, she recommended a very strange company to me. She also told me that bus tickets were in short supply because there were so many people, so I had to recommend this company to get tickets. I carefully checked this company online, and TripAdvisor was full of horrifying negative reviews, ”Why don't you choose my company if you don't want to die?” Therefore, I feel that the service is not very good.

It is near the main entrance of Hoi An Old Town. Value for money seems good. Maybe it's because I came from Bell Marina Although it was compared It wasn't bad. However, the Bell Marina pool did not smell like latex. Silcotel smells like latex (Similar to or slightly worse than Korean swimming pools?) As a pregnant woman, I didn't, and only my husband did a little. There were not many types of breakfast The accommodation was cheap, so I am generally satisfied All of the staff were friendly, even if they didn't say anything. There are two swimming pools, but only the ones I posted in the pictures are pretty, and I was fortunate to use it by myself. If you're traveling with a baby, you'll be better off somewhere else.

The room is small but very comfortable. You need to take off your shoes to enter the hall. The boss is super nice. He helped to book the ticket to Nha Trang on the next day, and also helped me change the room and charged a little fee. It means that the hot water for bathing at night is big and small. I even accidentally left the hats I bought in Hoi An at his house.

This farm stay is so lovely and the host is a kind angel! She drove me into the old town a few times and asked what I wanted to eat/made me breakfast each morning. She also helped me book a great cooking class and a cheap car to Da Nang. The environment is very lovely and natural and the bed is comfortable. While it’s not located super close to the old town I liked the location because it’s relaxing and more quiet but still easy to get everywhere by car, motorcycle, or bike. I stayed here as a solo female traveler and felt very safe. Definitely recommend :)
