This property was just OK for literally getting a night's sleep. Other than that, i would not recommend staying. There are other, similar hotels in the immediate area (Hanpton Inn) that I would choose over this hotel, especially for the rate we paid.

We could not get in our room after several tries, Front desk had to tell us how to do the door to get in, no heat in the room, very cold, front desk says heater works, came and worked on it, finally got it sort of working, ice machine broke on our floor, breakfast was not great, worker there actually to the tongs from the biscuits while we were getting one, Hard/ cold biscuits, not even gravy helped.

It was perfect right off the interstate easy to find. Clean excellent fast and friendly service. They let us check in early when we got there. Didn’t get much sleep tho, sounded like someone running a race all night on the floor above us.

I checked in and was issued a room key. When I went to the room and opened the door I found the current occupant. Thankfully he was a kind man. But the front desk had no idea the room was already occupied. I was assigned a new room. There was hair all over the bathroom (including in the white sink so very visible), I’m not certain the sheets were changed between occupants, and the pillows are so old they are practically disintegrating. The front desk could only sell the snacks for cash (no credit card or charge to room), and of course, there are no vending machines. Overall, pretty disappointing stay.

I’m rating this location worse than previous stays. Why? I’m sensitive to mold and certain associated odors. This is a problem at MANY hotels… the in room air conditioner units are rarely if ever cleaned - not even the filter. So over years dust and mold build up on the AC/heater coil/elements so they are disgusting and smell awful. I could hardly breathe in our room. I turned off the AC blower even. Terrible.
