Very comfortable stay, very friendly staff. Room was spacious and mattresses were comfortable. This hotel has retained a family atmosphere. Convenient location just 10 minutes walk to the city centre or railway station.

L’hôtel Applebaum de la ville de Gütersloh. L’hôtel du Pommier. C’est un très bon hôtel. Les chambres sont très ergonomiques et spacieuses. Un très bon service. Le petit déjeuner reste très copieux. Un bon hôtel dans un quartier calme et dans une rue avec des places de parc en zone blanche.

Die Zimmer sind ziemlich klein. Die Matratze war sehr durchgelegen. Im Bad hat es unangenehm gerochen. Es war auch ziemlich kühl während des gesamten Aufenthaltes. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Frühstücksbereich könnte größer sein.

Anreise war sehr angenehm auch wenn die Rezeption ab 22:00 nicht mehr besetzt ist. Die Zimmer sind vernünftig und angemessen ausgestattet, allerdings erwartete ich mir bei 4* ein etwas moderneres Ambiente und einen Kühlschrank. Die Tiefgarage bietet zwar nicht viel Deckenhöhe für größere Wagen, doch ist eigentlich immer ein Parkplatz frei. Die Wellnesanlage (auch Dach-Oase gennant) ist gemütlich und mit einer Dampf-, wie auch Finnensauna ausgestattet, welche sehr gepflegt sind. Leider gab es kein kostenloses Wasser, was meiner Meinung nach bei Saunagängen essenziell ist! Auf eigene Getränke im Hotel ist man hier jedoch nicht gut zu sprechen, obwohl wir mehrmals im sehr guten Hotelrestaurant essen waren, wurden wir öfters darauf hin gewiesen, dass es nicht gerne gesehen wird. Es ist außerdem kritisch nach 22:00 im Hotelinnenhof zu sitzen (mit hauseigenen Getränken), da man um diese Uhrzeit „dicht“ machen würde. Im großen und ganzen war der Aufenthalt okay, jedoch waren die Hinweise des Hotel-Personals so gestellt, als fühlte man sich wie ein Minderjähriger in der Jugendherberge. Nicht zu vergleichen mit dem Service aus dem Restaurant, der war super !

Un hôtel trés agréable et très propre. Du personnel très accueillant. Le restaurant est par contre fermé le dimanche soir mais d'autres restaurants sont disponibles à proximité immédiate de l'hôtel. Une TV en plusieurs langues (parfait).
J'y retournerai volontier.
