My friend and I stayed here for one night. Whilst there was nothing wrong with the hotel and we enjoyed our stay, I did feel the place is a little dated. The room was clean and comfortable, it had floor to ceiling windows that made the room very light and offered a nice view over Guiyang. The bathroom was really large and the TV in the bath was a nice touch. It was just small things that ‘missed the mark’ like mouldy sealant and tarnished chrome around the basin, they’re not a big deal, just not something I expect in a five star hotel. Overall our stay was good though and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Overall, the hotel offers good value for the money. The lighting is very confusing and too dim. Takes quite some time to turn on or off a certain lamp. The location is near He Bin Park subway station. Can't say the location is best. Yet not that far away from important places like the Indian restaurant Namo or the Japanese buffet restaurant Shan Xun. The staff, especially the housekeeping staff, were courteous and friendly. The room was warm. It quite suited my needs.

We had one night stay in Kempinski. The hotel lobby was stunning with very nice designs. Our room was spacious and clean, the city views at night from the windows were just magnificent. The business lounge was on level 53 (top floor), which offered guests free afternoon tea, light dinner, and night drinks. Every staff member we met was very polite and friendly. A cozy twin room with no windows. I used to live in a hotel, and I felt that the curtains were drawn even if there were windows. It doesn't matter if I think about it. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Guiyang. The room and bathroom were both so spacious, and clean and modern looking. The location is incredibly convenient, as it is walking distance from the best spots in town, as well as a metro stop. From the airport it was only a 25 minute drive as well. It is a little hidden and the area behind is currently under construction, so the views aren't very good at the moment, but we will definitely stay here again if we return to the city. Comfortable and easy - and for a very reasonable price.

After arriving, I said I would stay here whenever I come to Guiyang. I sincerely hope that the hotel will get better and better. I am not criticizing the following two suggestions. 1. I don’t know if the 4 soft pillows in the room are misplaced or just like this. You can consider replacing them with 1 hard and 1 soft. There are different options. 2. If you don’t pay attention when entering the alley, you will drive by. We went around twice before entering. Can you add signboards or Ctrip pictures to show the instructions? When consulting by phone, we can tell you if there are any obvious buildings or shops at the intersection. It is convenient for everyone to find it in time.
