Guangzhou Wogo Yuanbao Hotel (Zhujiang New Town)

Zhujiang New Town/Guangdong Museum Guangzhou|1.27km from Guangzhou Railway (Group) Corporation
Overall: For a family trip, the family members said that the price-performance ratio was average. It was an enhanced version of a chain hotel with average environmental facilities and services. The hygiene was good. The breakfast was not delicious. It had no characteristics of Cantonese cuisine and the variety was pitiful. Environment: The door of the room is very soundproof and lightproof. The corridor was noisy from 23:00 to 0:00 for two consecutive nights, and the hotel management did not stop it until the customer couldn't bear it and called to complain. The light isolation is also very poor. There is serious light leakage from the crack of the lower door of the room, and it becomes bright when the lights are turned off. Facilities: The room's air conditioning control and various button controls are anti-human. If you don't get out of bed for a long time, you won't be able to complete some of the simplest operations. The outermost part of the curtain cannot be opened, and the inner side operations are speechless, such as the master control. As soon as I opened it, the curtain automatically stuck, scaring my wife half to death. Service: The only things worthy of praise are the waiter at the gate and the food delivery robot. These two are responsible for their duties. The others are no different from transparent people. The breakfast waiters are even more outrageous, like a group of outsourced people.

Hotel room: 0 (zero) star Hotel location: 4 (four) stars Hotel staff services: 5 (five stars) We checked into a room on 1/25/2024 for a 6-night stay. We realized the room smelled smoke even though we requested a non-smoking room. The worst was the bathroom's strong, moldy, foul smell, which is a health hazard and unacceptable. On top of it, the in-room HVAC thermostat doesn't work, which we didn't notice until the next morning. We suffered without fresh air circulation and high room temperature all night long. The following day, thanks to the friendly, accommodating front desk staff, we could change to another room with no issues like the previous one. Even the room we changed to also has maintenance issues, such as the ceiling light above the nightstand hanging loose from the ceiling and exploding electrical wires. And the bathroom Faucet is loose, etc., unfortunately. Besides the exceptional overall staff services, the hotel is conveniently located in a local neighborhood, a perfect alternative for tourists who want to experience the truth of Guangzhou. Suppose Baiyun Hotel is positioned as an international five-star hotel. In that case, besides sustaining excellent staff services, improving room maintenance, upgrading the aging hotel, and paying attention to the details is essential. Outstanding staff service or a profound hotel history couldn't substitute necessities such as an operational thermostat or a foul smell in the bathroom. Having said that, I wouldn't consider Baiyun Hotel when we visit Guangzhou next time, nor would I recommend it to others due to my experiences with the hotel room.

This time I came to Guangzhou for 6 days and stayed in four hotels. This hotel gave me the best experience and the most sense of belonging. It is very new and the decoration is very suitable for the current popular style. I booked a business room, and the front desk upgraded me to a deluxe twin room when they saw that I had two children. Several highlights: 1. The room is very spacious, bright and well ventilated. There is heating and there are smart gadgets that children like. Just like the new friends he is looking for, he plays with Xiaodu in the hotel every day, haha. 2. The beds and linens are very new. There are sofas, chairs and tables for resting. It is very suitable for families. 3. The bed is quite big, 1.35, a family of four can sleep there no problem. The mattress is the most comfortable I've slept on in days. 4. What I like most is the wooden floor. Many hotels have carpets. I am not willing to accept even a small piece of floor. The floor in this hotel room is easy to clean and does not accumulate dust. I am a bit small. Medical staff who are mysophobic like this kind of decoration the most. Whether you live alone or with children, you can feel more at ease. 5. The beauties at the front desk provide very good service. The handsome guy who took us up to see the room type on the first day was really service-minded and very flexible. The boss is very happy to have such an employee. In fact, these ladies are pretty good, solve problems in a timely manner, and are enthusiastic. According to my taste, the only thing that the hotel needs to improve is that the breakfast can be richer and children's products can be slowly added 👀 Let's talk about the location: the hotel is very close to Zhongshan Ophthalmology Center, and it is not close to Canton Tower, Grandview Mall and nearby check-in points. Far. It's only a few kilometers away by taxi, and the subway is also very convenient. It's just that I don't want to take the subway with my children. I feel that Guangzhou is a beautiful place with beautiful people, beautiful buildings, beautiful food and accommodation. I quite like this city. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, we did not go up to the Canton Tower. I will stay here again next time I take my children to see a doctor.

I really like the style of the room that was upgraded for free on the first night. The city view is good and you can see the small waist. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and has a good service attitude. The overall experience is good.

The hotel is on the side of the road. I thought it would be noisy, but it went to bed quietly at night. It might also be because the special room has no windows. As soon as I entered the room, I found a few mosquitoes flying, and my heart was half-hearted. I was most afraid of mosquitoes who could not sleep. Fortunately, the room is small and the lights are bright enough. After all the eight mosquitoes in the room have been wiped out, Gaochen has no worries. The price-performance ratio cannot be too high, and overall it's okay.

The front desk service is good, give Xiao Hu a thumbs up 👍 The room is nice, bright and comfortable, and the cleaning ladies are also very nice. The surrounding Dongshankou subway station is a trendy and lively area, and there is also the Xinhepu historical district, which is very quiet and very comfortable to walk around. The breakfast is more Chinese style, the dim sum variety is enough to fill you up, the replenishment is OK, and the taste is good. The bath water is big. The disadvantage is that the TV does not work and the network signal is not very good. Overall good value for money, satisfied!

1. The location is good, about ten minutes walk from Dongshankou Subway Station 2. The facilities are outdated, like an old guest house. The TV set-top box is broken, the shower in the bathroom is broken, the bathroom door is derailed, and the bottom of the door is rotten. The window opened so close to the building next door that the curtains had to be drawn all day. 3. The check-in procedure is very cumbersome, just like cross-examination. You have already registered your child's information, and you have to ask again. 4. Don’t worry about anything else, after all, the price is here, but the noise from the power distribution room at night is really unbearable. Especially the next day we had to catch an early flight, and it was noisy from 8 o'clock in the evening until the early morning, which was very incomprehensible. Definitely will not choose again.

Mini single room, the room is not big, the bed is 1.5 meters, it is OK for one person to live in. The surrounding area is very close to the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical University and the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University.
