During our stay the most precious, apart from the views, food, peaceful surrounding, was lady from the reception, who called herself as "Our Italian Mother". Such a helpful, cheerful and amazing soul! The location was beyond expectations. Old property converted into quintessence of Italian hospitality and comfort zone. Tasty breakfasts, comfort, big rooms, peaceful evenings filled with the sounds of nature. The best week in our whole life!

If you like quiet and living in nature then the La Capanne is for you. I was disappointed as it is isolated and you need a car to do everything, including going to reception. It all needs some attention. The pillows are very thin and the second bathroom needs a shower curtain as the water goes everywhere. There is 1 washming machine for using but it needs attention as well. I guess value for money but what ruined it for me was the smell of manure everyday from the farmer next door. We left a day early. The cleaning lady Laura was lovely, funny and very helpful. The pool is nice, fished out 3 mice and 2 frogs, so like I said its authentic farmhouse. Also had a couple of mice run through the house. Maybe because of the farmer being busy next door. Shops are about a 5min drive.

We loved our stay at Fattoria San Lorenzo so much, that we came back the next year. The apartment we had was spacious, clean and has all the necessary facilities. The swimming pool is great. And the estate has a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. But most importantly, the staff is fantastic. They are always willing to help with whatever you may need. And they do it with a smile and a sense of humour. Complimenti!

we have had a great stay here. would love to be staying longer. the staff couldn't be more helpful. the area is great with lots of things to do but even just to stay by the pool playing table tennis is great too.

We stayed for 3 nights but we wished it would have been longer, the location has character, the pool is good for the kids, the staff are very generous and welcoming and the tennis teacher Luca is simply the best. Thank you for all our new memories and see you soon!

We were 2 adults and 3 children. We booked via ***********. When we arrived we found that this place did not meet our expectations. Our apartment was 800 meters from the main buildings where the restaurant and playground was situated. This was not mentioned anywhere or visualised on any Photos. We needed to walk with 3 small Children or take our car back and forth. When we found out we immidiately told the manager. He Said we could try a refund through *********** but this was refused. Some days later some of our friends had the same bad experience and they got a full refund. *********** says it is up to the hotel to decide if a refund is possible - the opposite a the manager Said. When calling the hotel afterwards the explanation for not giving a refund was: “this is not a charity”.

A pleasant stay in luxury apartments with a great pool :-) The pool was surprisingly warm. The place is very quiet. There is a shopping mall nearby where you can get everything you need. To the sea about 10 km. We were very satisfied. We appreciate the professional approach of the staff. I highly recommend.

It was a really good time we spent in the Fattoria San Lorenzo. Appartment and garden invite to have wonderful holidays there. The short way to Grosseto is another advantage, we enjoyed. Enough space for the car is very much appreciated. We come again!

If you are looking for a relaxing stay in southern Tuscany that affords you not only vineyard options but is also a short 20 minute drive to a wide, inviting beach, look no further than Fattoria San Lorenzo! The property is beautiful and the accommodations are large and very nicely furnished. We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom that had an open living/dining/kitchen on the main level and a lovely patio with table and chairs. It was early October, but the sun was still warm and our son enjoyed the pool. Breakfasts were plentiful and farm fresh. We also enjoyed a dinner during our stay. We really loved getting to know Veronica, and she had a fantastic wine pairing recommendation for dinner. Jana adored our son, and was always saying hello! S in the office was patient with our many questions about what vineyards to visit and where to eat. She made phone calls for us to set up vineyard tastings since October is the beginning of low season, and drew us maps so we knew how to get there! There is a grocery store a quick three minute drive from the farm that was convenient to pick up things to cook in our little kitchen. Our stay was so relaxing and enjoyable! We definitely plan to return!
