Decent and nice hotel. Caters to many couples and families who bring along their pet dogs etc. Seen like this is their specialty. Only thing we found strange was that they charge a hefty fee to use the swimming pool, even for hotel guests. The air conditioning also appears less than ideal, being fixed in terms of the temp setting. You cannot change or adjust it- which is not good

It was a nice, clean 4-star hotel. It had a partial sea view, so it had a sense of openness, and the VR game room among the auxiliary facilities on the first floor was fun. Geumjin Hot Springs was large and neatly maintained and easy to use, but it was a bit disappointing that there was no shared space for men and women like a sauna. I used room service and the food was delicious, but there was no separate dining table and I had to eat at a small tea table, so it was a bit cramped and uncomfortable. Geumjin Port is close to the hotel and the view is good. Breakfast was also good.

Seeking to spend a few days on the Korean Seaside, we booked on short notice 2 nights in an Oceanview Double at Seamarq. Overall, we had a wonderful, very relaxing time: we particularly enjoyed - the spacious, beautifully designed and functional room and lobby area, which truly provides a sense of space and an extension of the hotel space into the sea - the absolutely stunning 5th floor pools area, which was never really crowded and also stayed open despite some minor rain on our first day: comfortable sunbeds, generous opening hours (06:30 - 22:00, great) and good service by the mostly very young crew up here - the nice ocean side loungers, even though we still find it awkward that there is (at least officially) a 1.5 hour limitation to the use of the sunbeds (though at least during our stay this did not seem to have been enforced) - the piano player who brought a serene, peaceful atmostphere to the lobby every night, and the Lobby Bar with an excellent drinks, tea and small food selection - the thought-through room design, incl. the practical wet clothes hanger with clips to secure any item, and the Nespresso machine, tea pot etc. - the overall good selection and tastiness of the food at breakfast and at the buffet dinner (which we only joined once) To be among the very best hotels, Seamarq needs to fix a few things - the setup and food presentation of the breakfast / dining room is more reminding of a low-end, family vacation style: relatively crammed seating, presentation of the food buffet is without love (though the have a great choice - it's more how it's presented), and erratic service (e.g. on first morning nobody cleared used dishes from our breakfast table, while today this was done promptly every time...). - while there is a wonderful beach with the hotel's sun loungers, there are no beach towels available: this is the first time ever around the world we experienced this. Why not provide the same service as at the pool (where those are freely available)? - as others wrote, the elevator availability and waiting time is a real issue - with only 3 elevators that are also partly used by staff to deliver luggage wait times are often excessive. All these were not significantly spoiling our experience, and we would definitely be back here if staying in the area - though it would be easy for the hotel to improve on some of the items above. Overall a wonderful place to stay if in Gangneug, and wanting to be at (or better above :-) ) the sea

overall experience was decent, the location is the best part about this hotel. it was fairly crowded even on a weekday. the check in process was fine and the room quality overall was decent. the room and bathroom felt like it could need a deep cleaning. there is a infinity pool on the 20th floor and it was worthwhile, but they charge you an extra fee of ₩30,000 (masks mandatory). the breakfast buffet was a little disappointing, the majority of the food felt like it was low grade, and service was menial. the most disappointing part was the late night snack i chose to order from the BHC chicken place on the first floor. its crispy but there was literally so little meat, i was just eating the fried skin.. maybe because i went near closing time they gave me a bad batch, but overall super disappointing for the over marked price. there is also a small convenience store that stay open till 12am.

The family room has one large bed and two small beds. The surrounding area is very lively and very close to the Central Market. Traveling is very convenient. There are many buses to Gangneung Station, and there are also routes to Tofu Village, Gyeongpo Beach and other attractions. However, as the number of buses decreases, you need to watch the time carefully. Gangneung is a quiet seaside town, very suitable for tourism.

Very nice and clean modern facility, comfortable bed and convenient location with much to offer. The staff are very helpful even with the language barrier but they do their best to assist and help with finding stuff around town. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. I was here during the wildfire and strong winds and hotel staff put the patrons safety above all else and assist. Highly recommend this hotel for a safe enjoyable stay

I went on a family trip with four people, including two kids and my wife. The hotel is right next to Gyeongpo Lake. It's close to the sea, great for walking around the lake, and the location is great. Perhaps because the facility is a new building, the room still smells like you would when you moved into a new house. And although I expected it, the room was narrower than it showed in the picture. However, considering the size of a typical hotel room, It's a duplex, so it's wide open, so it's less stuffy or stuff like that. However, the slope of the railing going up to the duplex is a bit high. It can be dangerous to go with very young children. At least a duplex unless your child is in elementary school or older. I would not recommend it if children are concerned about falling. The reason I gave the facility 3 out of 5 is because the railing height is too high and This is because the size of the indoor parking lot is too small. Of course, I was informed that I could use a public parking lot nearby. I parked there, but I have to endure some inconvenience. Other than this, the location and facilities are very good. The rooftop view is especially nice. I think it would have been nice if there was a cafe here so you could have a quick coffee or something. I received friendly guidance when checking in. The service is not directly related to the staff and service. I'm not sure if it's very good or bad. At the level of just going for a trip and sleeping, not a hotel stay. If you're looking for a clean hotel, it doesn't seem like a bad choice.

Not far from downtown Gangneung. The view of the Korean fishing village is right rather than the sea view. The view of the sea with a small harbor is also ok. Sunrise in the morning. The order itself is small, but it is central to it, so it is a good choice for walking nearby restaurants. As other reviews say, the runner window is narrow. If you come in late, you should stop on the nearby roadside. There is a convenience store right across the street. The interior is clean. The bed is not inconvenient and the noise is blocked well. Good to have a veranda and a comfortable chair. The condition itself is evaluated by the middle of the motel and the hotel. There is about 30% of the atmosphere of the motel. ^^ Still quite a decent hostel.

I visited because I said I would be an expensive motel, because I would have imitated a hotel, and I was wrong. There was no doorman or parking help, but it was not difficult to park mechanically. The staff were friendly, including the front desk. Breakfast was not crowded because it was operated by reservation zero and it was better to eat at 5,000 won per person for an event. ㅋㅋ Not a gorgeous buffet, but it was well equipped with coffee, milk, rice and soup, scrambled eggs, sausages, salads, bread, mini croissants, etc. The room and bathroom were clean and well equipped with toothpaste toothbrushes and toiletries. The old big picture in the lobby was nice too. I'm a return visit doctor.

I took a taxi from a restaurant around the station and took 18000 won at 7 o'clock at night. This price in Korea would have been quite far. There is no around the hotel, but is it okay? Cozyly stay well! There is a 24-hour convenience store right next door and you can see the sea and ㅠㅠ is so nice! It was cold, but the boiler continued to operate and the floor was hot and hot. I don't know how many cooking utensils are because I didn't eat barbecue or food, but I was good at shampoo, dryer, toothpaste and toothbrush disposable! One unfortunate thing is that there is a bed on the second floor, and the ceiling part down the stairs is very low! Advantages 1. The ocean view is amazing 2. It was nice that there were many towels 3. There were three rooms, so one person slept in each room. 4. It felt like a small apartment and was comfortable (I was seriously considering a long-term stay) 5. Since it was a series of nights, I came in midway after finishing my schedule and wanted to rest for a while, but it was nice that the mess that had been made in the morning was neatly organized. 6. I really like the wooden floor. 7. The refrigerator is very cool (I put a not-so-cold beer in it, and less than 30 minutes have passed, and the beer is very cold) 8. Because it is a double curtain, you can sleep with only the curtain you want (the floor is high, so you don’t have to have a blackout curtain) 9. There was a balcony, so I brought a chair to the balcony to watch the sunrise (very good). disadvantage 1. The towel smells like bleach (it goes away after a while) 2. It seems like the sink and bathtub were not cleaned well (it was rough, so I scrubbed it with my hand and the dirt came out). 3. Elevator... Too late ㅠㅠㅠㅠ It's on the 27th floor, so it takes a long time to wait. 4. The parking lot is at the back, but the ledge at the entrance is a little high and low, so you have to exit slowly. 5. There is not enough parking space compared to the number of rooms. conclusion, I am willing to visit again, but it would be great if the bathtub and sink were cleaned and the towels were cleaned... if only the bleach smell would go away.

I stayed at the East9 hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. Everything was perfect from start to finish. the staff very polite, welcoming and smiling. I don't know if he really speaks English because I did everything in Korean since I speak a little in Korean. the hotel has two parking spaces, one inside the basement and the other outside in front of the hotel, if the two parking lots are full it is very easy to park around. My room (standard) was located on the 8th floor (so on the 6th real floor). view a little on the surroundings, not the best view but not the most disturbing either. My room was really large with an entrance to remove shoes (Korean style), a large bed, a large TV, a large bathroom ... in short everything was large in this room. Everything is in very good condition, the bed is very comfortable with a feather duvet and the pillows. bathroom very clean also. the only negative was that it was quite warm in the room despite turning off the heat and opening the window. the morning breakfast included in the room rate is pretty good, it is not a huge buffet but enough to have a good breakfast before starting the day. to finish I highly recommend this hotel, it is in a district surrounded by restaurant, bar and club with also several shops and convenience store.

The hotel is very close to Jeongdongjin Railway Station. It's about 10 minutes' walk. Close to the beach, there are many sashimi shops nearby, and there is a cu convenience store. You can see the sea on the upper floors, and you can also see the lower floors, but the view is not so wide. The 10th floor is a public observation deck. There are railroad tracks nearby, people who sleep lightly may be noisy. Generally speaking, the room is relatively clean. After all, it is a hotel in Xiaohai Town, which is not bad. There is a Caotang soft tofu shop nearby, 초당순두부, which is not bad and delicious. The first floor of the hotel seems to provide meal packs and coffee. I don't know the specifics, but I didn't use it.

overall experience was decent, the location is the best part about this hotel. it was fairly crowded even on a weekday. the check in process was fine and the room quality overall was decent. the room and bathroom felt like it could need a deep cleaning. there is a infinity pool on the 20th floor and it was worthwhile, but they charge you an extra fee of ₩30,000 (masks mandatory). the breakfast buffet was a little disappointing, the majority of the food felt like it was low grade, and service was menial. the most disappointing part was the late night snack i chose to order from the BHC chicken place on the first floor. its crispy but there was literally so little meat, i was just eating the fried skin.. maybe because i went near closing time they gave me a bad batch, but overall super disappointing for the over marked price. there is also a small convenience store that stay open till 12am.
