I've been to Fukuoka multiple times and previously stayed at other establishments that simply cannot match the Ritz. Got a king room for my honeymoon. Really appreciate Sanjay and rest of staff making us feel very appreciated from check-in until departure. The level of attentiveness was impressive, and people here speak good English. Location is quite good, close to metro/bus stops, Ohori park,and plenty of eateries/shopping/yatai's. Room is as modern as you'd expect. Bed and bathroom are very comfortable - other hotels are going to struggle to match this level of sophistication. I really appreciated the amount of space vs the typical Japanese hotel. Great amount of amenities. Minor suggestions for improvement - in-room snacks - we got the impression that several of the snacks were complimentary. After we checked out, we discovered that they were not, an unpleasant surprise. Some better communication here would be valuable. Late check out - as an Elite member at check-in we were told that late check out would be offered. However, on the day of I discovered that I still had to call to ask for late check out, and then I had to wait a bit until they called back to confirm. The small details matter in delivering a flawless experience. Still, these are relatively minor things and overall we were very satisfied with our stay. On our next stay to lovely Fukuoka we'd definitely only stay here. Book it, you won't regret it.

This is the most disgusting and despicable thing any hotel management can do is to chase my father off the premises when he was waiting quietly for me downstairs to have breakfast. I am staying with my mother in this hotel and since they’re not together anymore, my father decided to wait for me at the quiet third floor banquet. I was just getting ready to meet my father when the security manager and his team of security threatened my father with Police to arrest him! To which my father replied that his lawyer will sue them for malicious prosecution! Since he was just quietly sitting at the sofa waiting for his son to come down! Not having issues. Eventually, my father removed himself from the hotel but yet; the security manager was physically manhandling my father while at the lobby by grabbing his arm even though he was walking normally! The security manager was just trying to create a scene with my father. DO NOT STAY HERE! These people here are vile and vindictive in their demeanours! Totally unprofessional and have no work ethics! No services from the heart ❤️ They are a total disgrace to the hospitality industry! Definitely not a 5 Star Hotel in services but more like a putrid fish market!

ニューオタニブランドなので、それなりの期待をしていましたが、残念ながら打ち砕かれました。 ビジネス利用で朝食付きツインタイプに1人で宿泊。 部屋の広さは十分で清潔感はあり、アメニティも充実していました。古さは否めない感じですが、水回りやクローゼット等一部はリニューアルされており、空調も不快さはなく良かったです。 しかし、ベッドのマットレスは安めのモノでしょうか、寝心地は良くありません。周辺にある新しいビジネスホテルの方がよっぽどこだわりのある高品質モノが多いと感じました。 その点については、大きく期待を裏切られてしまいました。 洋食バイキングの朝食は品数がものすごく少なく、本当に残念でした。 *料理のオーダーが出来る点や、味は全般的に合格点ですが、種類が少なすぎるのは驚きを隠せず愕然としました。 朝食会場のスタッフの対応も味気なく、空いていたのに流れ作業的な感じる雑な感じ。ホテルの看板を背負っている意識は微塵も感じられませんでした。 清掃スタッフはすれ違いざまにしっかり立ち止まって挨拶されましたが、遠くに見えてスタッフは横柄な歩き方でダラダラとしていて気分が悪くなりました。 この点についても、周辺の新しいビジネスホテルの方が教育が行き届いている感じがします。 フロントスタッフの方々は、忙しそうでしたがテキパキとしていて不快さはありませんでしたが、一方で暖かさは感じませんでした。 結論、バード、ソフト、値段を勘案すると選びません。 よっぽど安ければまた泊まりたいとは思いますが、積極的にはナシです。 バードは予算の問題もあり簡単には改善出来ませんが、スタッフ教育は幾らでも出来るはずです。 気が付いたら、周辺の競合ホテルや、競合ではないランクのホテルに抜かれていた、、、そんな未来が近いホテルですね。

I like old fashion hotels, but this one just feels old. Room was extremely basic, restroom ugly, and pillows uncomfortable. Japanese breakfast was elegant but hard to digests. The buffet breakfast had some options, but still limited. But the worst part is that you need to pay extra usd 22 to use a small gym! I wish I knew earlier… I won’t stay here again. Location is convenient though just walking distance from the station.

I’m finishing a five night stay at the Comfort Hotel Fukuoka Tenjin. This is my third Comfort Hotel this year, and all have been similarly reliably comfortable budget hotels. The Fukuoka Tenjin version I chose because of its proximity to the places I needed to go. Tenjin is a busy area with plenty of nighttime activities to keep people busy. The hotel is on a busy road and there is noise if your room is on the front side. The dark pull down shade is great at blocking the morning sunshine for late sleepers. I slept well in spite of outside noise. I’m sure rooms facing north are quiet, but the sunshine is on the front side. The room is comfortable for soli travelers. For couples it may be ok, but For me, alone, it was fine. The bathroom is spacious for budget Japanese hotels, not the typical unit bath, and the rain forest showerhead and body spray functions are nice. For the cost, this hotel is a bargain. Tons of restaurants nearby, including 24 hour udon across the street. Mitsukoshi and Daimaru department stores a couple blocks away, and the subway 100 meters away. Easy access by subway from the airport, with no train changes. I like this hotel and its location. If I’m back in Fukuoka again, this hotel will be my first choice.

The location is close to downtown Tenjin. ShinShin Ramen's main branch is right behind it. Richmond Hotels has always been my first choice for accommodation in Japan, and this stay in Tianjin Xitong is also quite satisfactory. The hotel is located in the lively Tenjin business district and is also very close to the station. The room and public facilities are well equipped, and the space is quite comfortable and bright. The hotel staff was very kind and although the English communication was not smooth, they would do their best to solve the problem for the passengers. The only pity was that this stay was on the fifth floor, and at night there was still a little noise and bowling from the building next door. If you have the opportunity to visit Fukuoka again, you will want to stay again.

I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, but I was very satisfied because the cleaning and room condition were better than I thought. First of all, the advantage is 1. Room condition Most of the Japanese accommodations were worried because the rooms were small, but despite the fact that there were two beds, I was able to arrange my luggage by spreading two large suitcases. It was really nice to prepare in the morning because each toilet was separate. When my boyfriend shaved in the sink, I was comfortable with a toilet or shower. Two beds were separated, but the bottom of the bed was wheeled, so I could move the bed alone! We put two beds on the wall and we used the floor a little wider. It's a convenience store food in Japan! There are microwave ovens, vending machines and washing machines on the 1st and 2nd floors of the hotel, so when I came into the hotel for 3 days, I definitely stopped by the convenience store next to me and bought a late-night snack. Location It was a great location for our couple who had a schedule around Tenjin. I can go anywhere within 10 minutes on foot, so after the day's schedule, I came into the hotel and took a rest. After coming out at dawn, I went shopping comfortably when there was no line at the nearby Donkey Hotel. ㅎㅎㅎ Tenjin Station, Nakasu Food Street, It was so nice that the city, including Canal City, Don Quixote, convenience stores, and Ichiran Ramen, all within 10 minutes walk. 3. You have to bring your room key to the security elevator to get on, and at 12 p.m., the automatic door, which is the entrance door of the hotel, is also open only by taking a room key! I was worried that there was no resident staff at the front desk, but I didn't have to worry. 4. It was nice to have a separate smoking space in the parking lot on the first floor of the smoking hotel 5. There seemed to be no toilet bowl and toilet bowl, but one side of the bar table had a square gap, so when I opened it, there was a mirror, a space to store cosmetics inside, and even lights on both sides of the mirror. It was easy to hair and I liked the dressing table. ㅎㅎㅎㅎ The downside is 1. We reserved 4 residential twin rooms in Tokyo Stay Tenjin from Aug 20th to 24th. As a frequent travellers (5-8 times to Japan annually), originally we had a very pleasant stay (prime location, all rooms are clean and we love the washing+drying machine in each room), until we experienced the life-time worst customer service. I requested for 2 hours late check out extension to 1pm and agreed to pay for additional charges for all rooms (2000 yen per hour per room and I paid 16000 yen in total). We experienced an unexpected long lunch on 24th and I sent a mail (at 12:30pm) via Tokyo Stay site to request for extension to 2pm (instead of 1pm). When we returned hotel at 1:20pm, one of the staff pulled his face, scolded and yelled at my family members loudly in Japanese, and he kept doing that in 3 of our rooms, even yelling at elderly and children of my family. My family members felt humiliated and were very upset. They told me that unpleasant experience, so I looked for that staff at front desk and asked the reason for the yelling and scolding, especially when we paid for all charges for extension. I used google translate in Japanese with speaker and there wasn’t any reply. When I asked for his name, he took off his name tag, ignored my request and said providing his name is against their privacy policy (All other staff were wearing name tags except him). He threatened to report to the police, if I keep asking for his name! Wait, what? So I want to ask: 1: Does the policy of Tokyo Stay allow staff to yell and scold customers when they do late check out? (not to mention we informed and paid for charges already) 2: It’s your policy to report your customers to the police when they ask your staff for their names?

This hotel is located at Tenjin South Station, diagonally opposite Daimaru Department Store and opposite the loft. It is easy to find. However, the entrance of the hotel is relatively small. There are convenience stores and pharmacies downstairs. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to 24 Ji'an. The room also has enough space for the two opened ones, which is a simple and clean hotel.

I’m finishing a five night stay at the Comfort Hotel Fukuoka Tenjin. This is my third Comfort Hotel this year, and all have been similarly reliably comfortable budget hotels. The Fukuoka Tenjin version I chose because of its proximity to the places I needed to go. Tenjin is a busy area with plenty of nighttime activities to keep people busy. The hotel is on a busy road and there is noise if your room is on the front side. The dark pull down shade is great at blocking the morning sunshine for late sleepers. I slept well in spite of outside noise. I’m sure rooms facing north are quiet, but the sunshine is on the front side. The room is comfortable for soli travelers. For couples it may be ok, but For me, alone, it was fine. The bathroom is spacious for budget Japanese hotels, not the typical unit bath, and the rain forest showerhead and body spray functions are nice. For the cost, this hotel is a bargain. Tons of restaurants nearby, including 24 hour udon across the street. Mitsukoshi and Daimaru department stores a couple blocks away, and the subway 100 meters away. Easy access by subway from the airport, with no train changes. I like this hotel and its location. If I’m back in Fukuoka again, this hotel will be my first choice.

Hotel location is good, close to Tenjin station and conveniently located near to the center and many Department stores around the hotel But our room is very small has problems with opening suitcase Is my birthday vacation trip , hotel has put some decorations on our bed with Happy Birthday card but no other surprises as upgrade or celebration treat And the front desk staffs are ok and helpful, some are very friendly but some are just no facial reaction But still, I will recommend people to stay in this hotel for convenient
