Newly renovated and friendly staff. A little construction noise was annoying at check in time but it stopped before we went to bed, so not too bad.

I pay for a room suite. They didn't have it and they demoted me to a worse room without giving me my refund difference. Also construction on the third floor, noisy all morning.

Hotel was very nice for a one-night stay. The breakfast was "so-so" but at least hot. The room was nice with a good kitchenette. The only problem was it took a little while to get hot water but everything else, including the staff, was great.

Check-in was smooth and efficient by a clerk who knew what she was doing. We had online reservations. Our handicap accessible room was large and very nice. Bathroom was great with walk-in shower. My only quibble was that the soap holder in shower was not deep enough to put soap bar in or anything else. Useless. Breakfast was truly outstanding!! Excellent! There was breakfast sausage patties that were very good. There were cheese omelettes; there were nice buttermilk biscuits and white gravy with sausage; plus a waffle maker. We did NOT leave hungry and IMHO this breakfast was the equal of IHOP!

Nice hotel. Nice big room. We stayed there 2 nigths and went to Big Bend Natl Park. Liked the Kichenette, and used it to cook dinner. Nice breakfast with many options. Nice parking area behind the hotel near our room. Good value for money.

The property is undergoing a renovation, but that was on the third floor so it did not cause me any problems. The property is on the west end of town. It was safe and quiet.
Victoria at the front desk was very nice and helpful.
The free breakfast is about what you expect. The dining area was clean and well stocked.

There was confusion about having a pet with our reservation, but the staff accommodated us with an adjus**ent to our room (and cost.) This was a quick overnight for us, and convenient to I-10, but there were very few restaurant options nearby and none close enough to walk to.
