Really enjoyed our 4 night stay. A perfect hotel, warm, welcoming and comfortable. Only negatives were the WiFi which was not great, and the 9am checkout! Food was homemade, not fancy, cuisine, tasty, plentiful and warming . There isn’t much choice, two choices to be precise, meat dish and a vegan vegetarian alternative but there is always plenty of salad and bread and I know the hotel caters for special dietary requirements too. Rooms are comfortable clean and our bathroom had a great shower, and there was always plenty of hot water. There’s a kettle in the room, but you need to bring your own tea and coffee. We loved our stay and would recommend this lovely friendly family hotel.

Stayed four nights here! I really lovely experience…. The hotel was great as it felt authentic to the amazing experiences we had on this holiday. The rooms were warm clean comfortable, and the food was excellent, with plenty of it. The only negative, was the free WiFi wasn’t great. Definitely would stay here again!

Lovely clean cosy and quaint hotel. However there are some unnecessary rules in our opinion. E.g states there is a sauna but actually you can only use it free of charge between 8 and 9 pm otherwise it costs €40! Also with some trips running at this time it feels hotel don’t really want you to use it for free. Also when bar closes at 11 you have to take your drinks into your room and are not allowed to sit in lounge area. Similarly with the mealtimes scraping your plates and no catering for younger guests unless you want to pay for something at bar . Just feels a bit school like and not the most welcoming ( apart from the amazing Joel) It could and should be more relaxed for what is an expensive break with sensible and polite visitors.

Wow, what an amazing experience, from the staff ,the room , the food ,the atmosphere, one of the best holidays we've ever had ,we loved it so thank you so much ❤️ the husky excursion is one of the best things I've ever done it was fantastic, best tip I can give you is take hand warmers

A cosy, authentic guesthouse with friendly staff. Kids said the room with a balconyroom was the best they have ever experienced. I’ll recommend this place happily!

Booked a Transun trip to Finland and missed out on the first trip so when this came up as a different hotel we booked it. SO glad we did. The hotel is lovely, very cosy, warm and friendly. Always a good selection of food, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Great location and lovely little town and some nice walks out. Close to the lake which was frozen while we were there so great for walking. Highly recommend and would love to go back again.

We stayed in this family run hotel for 4 nights and couldn't have had a better stay. It is warm cosy and inviting. Run by a lovely family. Tucked away in the snowy wonderland that is Hetta. Just what you need after a day in the snow. The place is so well maintained and clean. The home cooked food is beautiful particularly the salmon dishes and the hot chocolate the best daughter has ever tasted! The rooms are cosy yet spacious and the underfloor heating in the bathroom an added luxury. I would return tomorrow if I could. Thank you so much! Holiday of a lifetime!

This hotel have an amazingly family friendly atmosphere. Rooms are nice and you are very well taken care of by the personnel. Free parking, sauna and breakfast. I can just imagine how fantastic it would be to visit in the Winter time

What a little gem! The hotel is super cozy and feels untouched in many ways. The rooms are well planned, comfortable, clean and cozy. We stayed here twice, one night each. I would definitely be back. Breakfast was simple but had everything you need.
