The lady at the front desk when I arrived patiently went through all the hard work of registering a foreigner at a hotel during this pandemic period. Much appreciated! The location was good, the room was well-priced (and even got an upgrade), it was warm, and it was nice and quiet except the first night when the music from the KTV was coming through the floor. Plenty of sunlight and in winter, the window sill makes a good fridge for beer and any perishables haha.

I thought there was no place for parking. Later, I found out that there is a large backyard for parking. It is very convenient. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the lady at the front desk is very nice and has a good service attitude. Erlian itself is not a big place, and it is not far from the scenic spot. Instead of arriving on the same day of the booking I came to the hotel in the morning next day. A call ensured that they'd prepared and kept my room with a smooth check-in. The stay, however, comes for a deposit of a whopping 200 RMB. Unfortunately I had to discover later on, that there was a massive turd of **** neatly placed on the bedsheets, leaving a brown ring of wet sauce around it. Upon reclamation, the service desk replaced the bedsheet without further explanation, and let me stay in the same room despite the obvious smell and potential emotional damage : ) The paper in the bathroom was wrinkled from wetness and had a yellowish tint to it, which where it might have come from I will leave to imagination.
