房間配套設施很齊全，枱燈，蚊香液，手提袋，茶几，尤其枱燈，每次出差都要寫報告，酒店的早餐也很不錯，每次都吃的很飽，每次出差都住。

此酒店價格平宜，位於市中心，購物，吃飯，交通都方便，房間床褥枕頭，毛巾清潔乾淨，各员工亦有禮負責。
但因年代久遠，設施比较陈舊，电视不能使用，廁所設計不是乾濕分開，建議加装浴簾(價格不高)，晚上房間內(6楼)亦聽到酒店内卡垃ok 的聲響, 幸好凌晨後已停止。希望能改善

專門下載個攜程還評價的，環境很破舊，幾十的賓館環境都比他好的多，200多的房費，這酒店是能宰一個是一個，半夜三四點才入住，還專門問了前台，能不能延遲點退房，説可以。結果延遲了一個鐘退房，還要收半天的房費。不建議入住，這個價格在這個地方，可以換個環境很好的酒店了。順便問句，這寶石大酒店什麼時候倒閉。
