The location of the hotel is very good, closest to the largest Tagou School. The staff were warm and hospitable. After entering the room, we wanted to change to a double bed room. Marked down on service only because upon arrival we had problems entering the hotel because I'm a foreigner & the lady greeting us was not particularly helpful, however a phone call to the local authority by my Chinese girlfriend sorted things out. Room large, bed very comfortable, shower hot, all very clean. Breakfast is one of the best we've had in a Chinese hotel and these are the first three photos. I'm vegetarian and was delighted to see a wide range of freshly prepared and freshly cooked hot & cold vegetable dishes, all delicious. Our compliments to the kitchen staff who clearly know their business! The last two photos are from a local restaurant not far from hotel, can't remember the name but the entrance is very grand like the Tang gate in Luoyang, restaurant on third floor - superb Henan cuisine.
