Rooms are falling apart. The ac was leaking and a moldy wet spot could clearly be seen by maintenance when they came to look at the ac return vent. Maintenance even said that “hot water was dripping in there”. After they looked at the ac they also left a bunch of insulation and screws all over the floor. House keeping was only available by request and when they changed our bed sheets they placed torn ones on the bed. Not exactly four star hotel status especially for an important event (our wedding)…. There were spots all over the ceiling, the sliding door to the terrace did not lock and their jacuzzi was drained and roped off despite being told over the phone that it was working before one of our friends booked there.

I could tell the hotel had been really nice once. It had just weathered a storm a lot of the rooms were not working. My room did not have electricity by the bed nor did the phone work. other than that, trip.com got the wrong dates on my reservation. They book me for Saturday and Sunday leaving Monday, but my conference, the only reason for my trip, started Monday. Essentially they had me checking out on the day the conference was to begin. I told them immediately but they did nothing about it. trip.com not worth the effort. The Shores resort and spa Daytona Beach will be back and certainly worth the stay if you can get over the front desk staff…. except for the one with the purple ish colored hair. she’s a keeper.

Had no heat the entire stay (yes it was December/January and in the 50's and a cold snap...), plumbing/water ran the entire time. Bed was comfy but the room wasn't the cleanest. Valet & Bartender were amazing.

Clean, upgraded. Friendly staff, very nice pool area. Plenty of amenities. Would stay again anytime! Cannot recommend more :)

I stayed at this location for two nights, and it was absolutely fantastic. The room was impeccably clean and beautifully designed. The stunning ocean view added an extra touch of awe to the experience. Checking in was a breeze, and the staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

More a hotel than a resort and spa. No info regarding advertised services like spa, shuffleboard, pickleball, etc. Service by staff was inconsistent. Some were great! Others not. Restaurant ok for 1 night. No info offered for options for other nights. Bike rental was great and as advertised!

My stay was good. Rooms were very nice and clean. Valet Melvin was very helpful for me with my luggage. Housekeepers were super nice. All staff nice. Why not 5 stars... Picked this hotel for the spa but couldn't get an appointment. I was sad. So check for appointment at spa is open before you book.Restaurant was good food except Christmas dinner was way overpriced and every server gave me old coffee even when I specifically asked if it was fresh. Especially didn't get good cut of lamb for that price. And onion soup could have been made the way it should be with melted cheese on top not just a bit of cheese on piece of bread.

the property is dated and it shows understaffed at the reception area the valet was also the front desk operator during the night shift also paid 20 bucks for a burger i think it was a frozen patty locked myself out of room had new card issued front desk did not tell me the old key cards were invalid so i went out and came back and had one of the old door key cards and it didn't work so I had to get another card reprogrammed up and down the elevator several trips my windows had screws that were keeping them shut so I could not open them for fresh air 25 dollars for parking parking lot was empty maybe an incentive to offer free parking You might get more guests
