We chose this hotel because the location is amazing. Our room is facing erhai lake. We can see sunset and sunrise every day. Next to this hotel there's a restaurant that we like and not far from it there's a delicious Thai restaurant. You can walk along the road and enjoy the lake and mountain view. The downside is this hotel does not come with a pool and almost no one can speak or understand English.

We loved this place! Everything was excellent since the check in till the end. The location is excellent, just in the middle of the old town but still comfortable to reach by taxi with your luggage. The rooms are beautifully designed and have all the comfort. The reception staff helped us a lot to find a transfer till Shaxi accompanied us till the car pool place, called the driver and let us know via wechat. We would certainly come back to stay here if we ever come back to Dali.

The location was perfect to walk everywhere and the hotel itself was really lovely, homely and uniquely laid out, all the rooms seemed to be a little different and had their own delightful particularities. The owners were super helpful and accommodating, even giving us a free room upgrade (comfiest bed I’ve slept in in a while!) and helping out with finding us places to covid test and answering any questions we had about the town. We ended up spending quite a bit of time at the pool because the atmosphere was so relaxing and we even made friends with the hotel dog ‘General’. A great place to experience Dali from!

The rooms here are fantastic, very big and very clean. The location is very convenient for getting to and from the airport and they have a free pickup service. The views from the rooftop balcony are very pretty and the hotel is within walking distance of the lake. The breakfast was quite disappointing, they say offer both Chinese and western breakfast options but this turned out not to be the case. Also, there is no food available at the hotel for lunch and dinner. However, they did offer a free ride to some local restaurants. Overall it was a good experience staying here, the staff were friendly and the room was great. Would recommend staying here especially for those looking to be close to the airport.

Great service by the team/staff here. Very friendly and warm. As I couldn't speak Chinese well and a foreigner, they made extra effort to see my stay and travels went well. Spent most of my time outdoors, however the room was nice, well laid out, clean and comfortable. The lakeview is great to wake up to and see from relaxing on the bed. Location is roughly mid-way between Xizhou Town, Zhoucheng Village, Three Pagodas (Chongsheng Temple) and Dali Ancient town. I would stay here again if I returned to Dali.

Only a short 5 minute walk from where the #8 bus drops off near East Gate, but 10 minutes or so to the main part of the old town. A little difficult to find, down a side alley. Some signposting in English would be helpful. The owner was friendly, but doesn't speak any English. Check-in was completed with minimal fuss. I stayed in a double room, which is good value for money. The room was quite small, but big enough, with a decent-sized bathroom. The shower was really good with piping hot water. The bed was extremely comfortable. Nice communal area for relaxing when the weather is warm. I ended up extending my stay to 4 nights

Thank you to Brian, Jeanne and the team, including Shirley who gave us a warm welcome and a wonderful stay. The Linden Center in Xizhou is a fascinating and wonderful place to visit and stay. Learn about the history of the house and local area. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The food is excellent, choose to eat on the restaurant, the relaxing bar or the gorgeous terrace overlooking the green paddy fields and mountains. Take the morning market tour and be guided around Xizhou with it’s beautiful architecture and friendly people. We actually didn’t go very far this trip as we just enjoyed relaxing in the linden center courtyards, our kids also especially enjoyed the playroom. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back to visit the other Linden Centers.

I was very impressed with Dali International Hotel. The hotel facilities, decor, service and Rooms were exceptional. I was especially impressed with the rooms. We book a room facing the Erhai Lake and with a balcony. The room was spacious, very modern and impeccably clean. The only negative I would say is that the a la carte menu for the western restaurant is very limited. I hope this can be improved. Also the changing rooms at the swimming pools was not very clean. Overall it was a Magnificent Stay at Dali International Hotel and This would be my first choice hotel anytime that I come to Dali.

It is quiet in the bustle and convenient to the ancient city and Erhai Lake. The Linden Commons is absolutely faultless! This is my second stay here and I loved every minute. Rooms are beautiful, the hotel is tranquil and relaxing, beautifully restored and the public areas are spacious. We loved the breakfasts, noodles, eggs, porridge to order along with a delicious buffet selection of fresh fruits, breads and pastries. Dinner was also lovely - eaten in the garden. I had booked the Inn after reading the many good reviews of travelers. It did not disappoint, far from it in fact as the service provided was top-notch. I had not planned any itinerary or sourced for any tours and instead asked the staffs for any recommended tour packages. They then connected me to a driver who was brought us around to the places that we want to go while advising us on any other attractions we might be interested in. We extended the tour to a 2nd day as we were pleased with his service. The Inn had also helped us book a car to the train station as we do not have a china mobile number. One of the staff, knowing that we need to leave early, went out of his way to purchase some bread and yogurt so that we can have it on the train as breakfast! The breakfast which they provide is delicious and healthy. Both my mom and I got hooked onto the rose flavoured red bean steam bun that they served and even went to search online where we can purchase it to bring it back to Singapore! I am recommending this Inn to all who want to stay in a slow paced environment while experiencing the comfort and service of a high range hotel.
