太白賓館曾經是萬州很好高檔的酒店，畢竟是單獨一棟樓的酒店，估計濱江路興起和萬達廣場及希爾頓酒店是萬州現在的主要商務活動區。這次入住感覺是才裝修不久，比較新，價格也很優惠，和朋友一起來萬州旅遊，住在老城區高筍塘附近還是有感覺點，離老字號格格烤魚萬州麪小火鍋等美食也近，不到200元的標間價格，性價比好。唯一不足是停車居然要單獨收費，價格還不低，停了13個多小時收了34元，明明是賓館自有停車場，感覺是承包出去高價收費。

這個酒店有幾十年了，重新裝修後第一次入住。感覺不怎麼好，雖然重新裝修，但是衹是軟裝上稍微加持了一些。房間面積還可以，但是服務不行。裏面電梯設備陳舊，老化，佈局不合理。衞生間原有的浴缸拆了，但是就空置着，淋浴房太小，人在裏面轉不開身。電視居然這個年代還不是網絡電視，最初用不來，叫工作人員來弄。來了個保安，那態度絕對讓你想不到，一走來直接切開你的wife，害得我老公正在打遊戲，直接斷網，工作人員還一副無所謂的樣子。電視調好後，説弄好了。我説就衹能看這個嗎？沒有網絡電視看嗎？他回答説你自己看唄，就走了，啥態度。而且定的城景大床房還沒有早餐，要豪華大床房才有，真是區別對待。另外停車還需要收費，一天30元，費用根本不便宜，算下來房費就高了，下次不會再去。

小時候在萬州生活了10多年，離開20年後再回來，仍選擇老城區，看到熟悉的學校、熟悉的街道。高中時上學路上天天路過的太白賓館，這次回家鄉第一次入住居然被驚艷到。寬大的房間，乾淨整潔的被套，前台熟悉的萬州話，都讓人覺得感慨萬千。家鄉情懷，不管離開家鄉多遠，回到這裏一切都覺得很熟悉。下次回來探親仍會首選這裏。
