Best experience ever. We fell in love with the place, the people that works there are amazing, everyone is happy and charming, I ve never been in a hotel with a team so charming, elegant, flawless and kind like this before. This place ruined the rest of hotels for me, there’s simply no comparison. You most go and live the experience, is the best hotel ever. And don’t miss the experience of staying in the bubble ❤️

Everything about this resort was 5 stars+. From the airport with refreshments to the arrival experience to the amazingly attentive customer service, it is the nicest resort I’ve ever stayed in and the best customer service I’ve ever experienced, and we have traveled extensively to many countries. Add onto that the elephant experiences, the spa, the very well done opium museum, the spice cooking class, and you just can’t get any better. Recommend 100%.

A truly unique experience at a five star hotel at an elephant camp. Wonderful property with large, nicely furnished and well equipped rooms. The food and service were outstanding. All the staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The walk with the elephants is a memorable experience. We also fully enjoyed the Spice Spoons cooking school with the head chef. This is a hands on half day class and not a demonstration and you get to enjoy what you cook. This resort was one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand and should not to be missed. The prices may seem high but the total experience is well worth it.

We came for the Elephants but were inspired by the environment, facilities, and staff. With a 5-night stay we were able to experience almost all the resort has to offer. Opting for the "Explorer arrival" I worried it would feel "over the top" but instead was a wonderful experience and really set the stage for a wonderful stay. We chose the resort for the elephant experiences and they certainly delivered! In the world we live in these elephants really are living their best lives. Numerous opportunities with direct interaction with these wonderful animals and a genuine education from the staff, guides, and mahouts. On top of this, breathtaking sights and sounds, meticulously maintained property, tasty food, and attentive staff. The Anantara Golden Triangle earned its high marks and price tag. Highlights were the quality of activities. Talented guides and personalized tours with small size (if not one-on-one). Quality of food was excellent and great service. Depending on plan, it may get a little confusing on what is and what is not included can be a touch confusing but manageable. The only comment we have is the main restaurant has the same menu for lunch as dinner which can risk being redundant. Additionally the second restaurant is not included in the plan and though they suggest there is additional charge, in reality it is full price with no "adjustment" for dining plan. We still really enjoyed going to that restaurant and would do it again but.....could manage the value a little better. But these were very small comments in an otherwise lifetime experience for us. Thanks to the entire team from Bartenders to Mahouts! I hope we can visit again!

The hotel has outstanding service standards and this rather than the elephants sets it apart. Indeed it was not what I was expecting, in that I thought this would be an elephant version of Giraffe Manor! Clearly elephants are massive creatures and contact with guests needs to be on a controlled basis. That being said we thoroughly enjoyed our walk with three elephants down to the river. Perhaps the highlight of our stay was getting up early and going to the local market with “Jino”, the head chef. He is a charming and engaging man and we enjoyed both the market and the cooking class that followed. I also enjoyed my ride through the countryside in the sidecar of the hotel’s motorcycle. The restaurant food is good and sitting outside and having our evening drinks with the torches blazing, was always a treat. The pool is extremely nice and was generally empty. We were there after Chinese New Year and it was quiet; a good time to visit. Negatives - it is quite a drive from Chiang Mai, the bedrooms are of reasonable size but are not as big or grand as you would expect for the price, some of the wooden decorative pieces around the balcony need repair, it is a two storey building and our room was a walk from the restaurant. Would I go back? Yes.

We stayed at Anantara Elephant Camp for three nights during our honeymoon. The reservations, check-in, and arrival were all great! The hotel itself is beautiful and you really feel like you are out in the middle of the jungle with the elephants around in the distance. Unfortunately the food and service ruined the experience for us. The bar and restaurant were out of many items that we tried to order. The food staff seemed busy and confused, often bringing the wrong food to the wrong people. One night at dinner we sat for 20 minutes before anybody came to give us menus or take our order. To make things worse, my wife got food poisoning from something she ate there, so the last two days of our stay she could not even leave the room because she was weak and had horrible stomach problems. When we checked out, the front desk staff asked if she was okay... but we think they maybe should have offered something to compensate for all of her problems and our bad experience. We had to cancel two days of tours/activities because she could not leave the room. Unfortunate because the hotel and location are beautiful and the pool and tours and activities seem great too, but the food and service ruined our stay.

The hotel brings lot of magical moments for family. We all enjoyed their Walking with Giant and Elephant Guardian activities with those rescued elephants. The Jungle Bubble stay and dinner at patio with elephants at front yard was also a memorable experience. All staff there are friendly and helpful with sincere smiles. Food served at Italian Restaurant, Thai Restaurant were very exquisite and delicious. Thanks Tuk, Tao and lots of other staff who made our stay so pleasant and unforgettable!
