We enjoyed our three night stay at the hotel over the New Years holiday. The staff at check-in was friendly as expected in Thailand. The hotel lobby furniture was slightly oversized for its space as we had to walk around it to get to the elevator. Our room was comfortable and large enough for our two moderately sized suite cases. We booked a room with breakfast, which was one of the best we have had at a hotel. We each got to order a couple dishes off the menu, which were excellently presented and tasted excellent. Additionally, there was a buffet with pastries, fruits, etc. Unfortunately, due to our early schedule two of the days we could not get the hot breakfast. On our last morning they provided a packed breakfast, which was a sandwich and other less memorable food. The hot breakfast was the most memorable thing for us about the hotel. I did also like the room design. In terms of hotel location, it is fairly central with shopping malls and restaurants a 5 – 10 minute walk away. We found traffic to be really slow around New Years with lots of Thais. This was my second time to Chiang Mai with my first trip in July over a decade ago. During both trips we had a friend who lives in Chiang Mai drive us around. I would say traffic during our first trip was not memorable, unlike at New Years. This made getting to the hotel from the main street slow and it may be better to pickup taxi/grab/ride on a main street. It may also be worth checking out when busy times are in Chiang Mai to have a more enjoyable trip.

Super nice and friendly staff. V clean hotel. Only down side is the location even though it’s about 6-7 mins walk to Maya and Niemann One, the road is not v nice to walk on and not easy to cross the road, as there are no pedestrian crossing with traffic lights. It’s too short a journey to book taxi!

Facilities: The facilities of a newly opened hotel must be at the first level. Breakfast was great Hygiene: Hygiene is absolutely ok Environment: On the street, there are a lot of motorcycles and cars going back and forth on the road. I didn't expect it to be very quiet, but as long as the doors and windows are closed, I can have a good sleep. Service: I would like to focus on the service. From the waiters at the door to the cleaning waiters, they are all praised and everyone is smiling. There was a welcome card, free drinks on the first night and even a metal bookmark for me on the second night. The most important thing is that when I turned on the TV, the first channel turned out to be a Chinese TV channel, and I checked all the TV channels, and there was only this one in Chinese, so I thought there should be someone who has done this specifically. Everything, service is all in the details. ps: There is a barbecue stall downstairs, I highly recommend it, it tastes great!

I arrived to the hotel and on the outside it looked really nice, and the staff was very nice. The girl who checked me in thow wasn't that great to understand english, so I was lucky to speak some thai. The didn't help you with your bags up to the room, but I didn't mind because I travel with good working bags that has wheels. When I came in the room the first thing that hit me was a bad smell from the toilet. (I was given a room on the top floor 608 to be precise. The size of the room was ok, but the furniture I could see how dirty and worn down rhey where. It looked like something the bought on a fleemarket. Further on I tried the bed it was the worst matress I have ever slept on, not only that the hotel is next to a road and at night it was so noicy from traffic so I didn't get much sleep. Sometimes I woke up and thought I had a motorbike in my room. I had booked a stay for 5 nights, but after 1 night I decided to move. So after one more painful night I checked out from this hotel and will NEVER return again.

We spent a few days in August in this hotel and the truth is that it was excellent value for money. The friendly and decisive staff. Location in the square of Chiang Mai, totally central. On the other hand, the room was cozy, and the pool, although logical because we are in Thailand in the north, there were a lot of mosquitoes, it was clean and the same as the room, cozy and clean. There is a kitten that is part of the hotel super funny We recommend it to spend a few days in Chiang Mai it meets the essential requirements of quality price location We would return for sure

Stopped here a few times, mainly because my Thai in-laws love the place, only because it is so close to the airport. Every visit something was wrong!! Not exactly the cheapest accommodation either.The toilet would not flush in one room, the taps at the bathroom sink turned with the handles in another room. We could not sleep because of the road noise (we were on the 5th floor!) in another room. The wi-fi was non-existent in one room.There was no hot water in another room. Every room the shower trays filled up with soapy water and was very slippery; dangerous in fact. The breakfast was OK for me, nothing flash. Toast, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milo, all the basics. Not real sure why people were climbing through the window to get here though. One lady I saw scraped all the brown off her toast, so that is was just white!!?? (Something to do with Thais believing that toast causes cancer I was told). Loved the sign beside the toaster that actually worked (the other one was broken on every visit and was just sitting there collecting dust). No cancer from that one! Words to this effect: ”Please do not put butter and jam on bread before placing in toaster.” At least the beer from reception 'fridge was cheaper than most shops. Nice and cold too. Gotta love it!

I came there with my family in December 2015. The view from our room was great (we booked 3 rooms) and the rooms were clean. This hotel is best for relaxation as the area is very quiet. Breakfast was delicious too, but they didn't specify the name of the food (it was a bit difficult for us to identify halal food). Another problem was that there were no restaurants or (similar to 7-11 convenience stores) shops nearby (the nearest restaurant takes 10-15 minutes to walk). Besides that, the overall experience was great.

The hotel has been described in enough detail, it is a place with good design and creativity, appreciated by the designer, breakfast is not something I am familiar with. We cycle around the city faster than cars, because there is always traffic jam in the city (Mr Mayor, I highly recommend you to go to Amsterdam, Chiang Mai should be a bike city) and have a lot of fun. I absolutely love the location of the hotel, it is quiet after midnight but vibrant before that. There are many bars, with live music, and young people wandering around. Nice green tea latte in the cafe, the hotel is just a few steps down and the massage parlor is next door. Good sheets and nice terrace all these combinations make me want to come back soon.

The hotel is considered to be attentive to details. The room is nice and clean. There are complete facilities. Unfortunately the bed was a bit noisy. Time to lay down Other than that, it's good. There are additional snacks and water available as well. And in the living room, there is additional instant noodles, porridge, snacks, and drinking water available. No need to pay extra, good value, we book with breakfast. I came to eat at Nimano Cafe in another hotel. Choose from Thai or American food. and hot and cold beverages. As for fruit snacks, you can eat them to your heart's content. For breakfast, it is considered good. Considered to be another nice hotel to stay in the Nimman area ❤️

We stayed in a superior deluxe room for four nights. The room was spacious, clean and had everything that you’d need for a short stay, from toiletries to a fridge with free snacks and water daily. The hotel is well appointed, in the middle of Nimman and in easy walking distance to numerous shops, cafes and restaurants catering for every taste. The only thing we found odd about the room was that there was no window. We didn’t spend too much time in the room, but it seemed strange that the wardrobe had been built covering the window... there was plenty of other space it could have been. The breakfast, which is included I the price, is also great and you can order as much or as little as you like. This is a three star hotel in a good location which offers amazing value. Some of the negative comments don’t seem to take that into account. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to budget to mid-range travellers.

The hotel is very close to Nimman Road, while avoiding the hustle and bustle of Nimman Road, the feeling of being quiet in the noisy is really good👍 the style of the hotel is very British, and it feels warm and romantic. Wake up in the morning listening to romantic music and waiting for the breakfast prepared for you. Enjoy it. Those who are not suitable for western food need to consider, and the breakfast will be prepared at 8 o'clock as early as possible, suitable for friends traveling leisurely. We booked a single double bed, plus a lower berth, the room layout is very warm, sanitary conditions are good, and sound insulation is also good. It's just that the furniture in the room is a bit old, which requires careful consideration. All in all, we love this shop! The waiter and owner are very nice!

It is already very good to have such a hotel at this price. The sanitary corner is not meticulous enough, but there is no problem with the bed and bathroom on the bright side. The biggest problem is that the lack of light at night causes dim light, but the daylight is very good. The location is also very good, close to Ningman Road, surrounded by convenience stores and many snacks. However, there is no big bed room, it may not be suitable for couples to play.

I stayed in Norn Nee Nor Hostel while travelling with my mother. We both had a Double Room each which features a great big king size bed. The hostel is very young and modern. The industrious yet chic design of the hotel provides a clean and cosy home away from home to travellers. It’s located in the vibrant Nimman area, walking distance to Maya Mall and the various restaurants, bars, shops etc around. The staff kindly organised a rental scooter which we could park directly out the front of the hostel. It was delivered within minutes of asking the staff. Snacks and drinks planted around the hostel along with a shared kitchen/dining area with instant noodles, cereals, biscuits and other snacks make for a very welcoming environment. The team are so friendly, accommodating and motivated. You can tell they are happy and enjoy their job. Their hospitality is outstanding. We messaged the hostel on Facebook to book direct and save a bit of money and they responded in under a minute. Overall, I’d rate their service, cleanliness, location and comfort to be 5/5 stars. I would 100% recommend Norn Nee Nor Hostel to anyone looking for accomodation in Chiang Mai!
