Very stylish hotel with a contemporary take on Chinese elements. So if you are Chinese and very in tune with your cultural roots, you might not find this too special - it is basically just 中国风. This hotel is slightly further away from the main tourist areas, however, you'll get to the local chinatown by foot in under 15 mins! Love the street food from the night market there; that same area in the day is Warorot market where you can find cheap clothes, shoes, local produce and snacks to buy back home! Lots of gold shops in the area too. Anyway, back to the hotel. Room size was ok, shower area design was amazing and roomy with a nice big tub! The toilet area was a little tight though. Room lighting was a slightly too dim for my liking, but in the day, if you undraw the curtains natural light fills the room pretty well. Balcony had a nice view of the very well tended garden and flowy trees, but it was a little uncomfortable to hang out in - humid, had lizards and more importantly, balcony area was not cleaned (chairs had signs of mould/stain and bird droppings). Sound proofing was ok but not air tight. I could hear music from the live band next door (i think) both nights i was there. Although they stopped at around 11 or 12. Service was pretty good. Reception counter seemed to be manned till late and if they saw you coming back from outside, they would always help open the door for you or minimally greet you with a nod and smile - rather rare for a boutique hotel, but very nice touch! One very thoughtful feature they had is a multi-type charging port! Whether it was micro usb, apple ports, usb c, the device had it all! I didn't have to unwind my charging cables nor take out my universal adaptor the whole time i was there!
