I stayed here again after a year and chose the same room as last time. Everything is so perfect and familiar, from the hotel environment to the food, from the service to the hotel facilities, everything is satisfactory.

I chose Anantara for my vacation in Chiang Mai. The environment is first-class, the service is in place, and the breakfast is rich and varied.

When I checked in, I was given a city view and a garden view. I chose the garden, thinking it would be quieter. However, the room was on the first floor. People would constantly be walking around in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows and making noise on the phone. There was no privacy at all (with the shading turned on). The curtains were extremely dim) I told the front desk, and the other person said rationally and confidently that we are not allowed, but there was no apology on his face😅 Besides, the room itself is old and shabby. The one bed is basically the same size as a Japanese express hotel, so it is very crowded for two people. The toilet pool is old and very small, and the toilet cannot be flushed unless the button is pressed for 6 seconds. The daily fruits are the same three oranges that don’t look delicious every day. The most outrageous thing is the hotel slippers. I wanted to take them to the airport to wear, but I was told that non-disposable slippers will be charged for taking away... Not to mention disgusting, this is the first time I have encountered (polyester cotton air cushion) hotel slippers in decades. There is a charge... The attitude of informing them was quite bad. The other party said that such luxurious (second-hand) slippers would not be free of charge...laugh The lobby was specially decorated for the New Year (to be honest, it was ugly), and inappropriately noisy Chinese songs were played. In fact, the Chinese guests were just big leeks in their eyes.
