Panda House Chiang Mai
3.9/55 Reviews
I was always greeted by Jenny on reception with a warm smile. After enjoying Chiang Mai city for 2 weeks i extended my stay and paid a good price for 2 more weeks. The rooms available are fan only or fan and air conditioning. Although there is no fridge in the rooms there is a communal fridge in reception which is always stocked with ample water, soft drinks and beers all at very cheap prices. My large room had a fan, AC, TV, wardrobe, dresser, king size double bed with very clean bedding, which can be changed upon request. The shower area, although a bit outdated, is still quite adequate. Panda House is located on a no through road, there is hardly any traffic outside and it is exceptionally peaceful considering how close it is to the city. I could take a slow walk to Tha Phae Gate in less than 10 minutes. Nearby Tuk Tuks are easy to flag down; or reception will order a private taxi in a matter of minutes. Panda House does offer a food menu, however there are endless bars and restaurants all within walking distance. I stayed for one month and had a very comfortable stay. Thank you.

Stayed here for a couple nights over new years while in Thailand for our honeymoon. The staff was great from checkin to checkout. We had a private room on the 3rd floor. The shared bath was nice and always had one of the 2 rooms open. We lucked out having such great outdoor space and sat on the outdoor deck to ring in the new year and watch the beautiful lanterns rise above the city. Walking distance to old city or night markets. Would certainly stay here again if returning to Chiang Mai.

I wish I was able to stay longer with them as I really enjoyed it there. The guesthouse is located just by the McDonald's outside tha phae gate down a side street. The host was amazing and really took an interest in you. The rooms were lovely and large, quiet at night and comfortable. They have free fruit, tea and coffee in the lobby as well as you can purchase cold drinks and beers. I'll def be staying with them again next time I'm in Chiang Mai!

The location was perfect, the room was clean, the owners were friendly and the place was modern. I really enjoyed my stay at Stay With Me Guesthouse. I’m not sure about the WiFi as I didn’t use it, but other guests said it was fine. I stayed here for two days as I visited Celebrity Ink for a cover-up tattoo and when I arrived back at the Guesthouse after a ten-hour session, the owner was waiting for me which was nice. Laundry is expensive at 50 baht a kilo (usually around 30 baht) but the owner charged me half price as I only had a few items. Booked an extra day here and was happy with the Guesthouse overall.

Chiang Mai Riverside
Another excellent stay at this lovely guesthouse, in a quiet area next to the Ping River but close to the night market and lots of lovely places to eat on the river. The couple who run this place are friendly, good and charming people who will make you feel at home. Rooms are ensuite and clean with good internet speed. I have been staying here for several years now and I highly recommend it if you are considering spending some nights in beautiful and serene Chiang Mai.
