Holiday Inn Express Charleston US Hwy 17 & I-526

As i reached earlier they gave the early check in always smiling and friendly atmospheric nice location not far from the airport

Great basic hotel. Good beds, good breakfast, friendly staff. Also, a traffic light at the entrance so you can get into the traffic on 17! Will stay again next visit to Charleston.

I checked in and when I went to the room, it looked like somebody has already checked in there- messed up bed, towels etc. I got a different room. The room is not very clean, it smells, lotion container was empty.

Overall quality was fine. There was cleaner residue on the desks, a lizard in the bathroom and no hot water this morning. Those are the 3 main negatives about my stay otherwise it was clean, quiet, and a friendly staff.

We wereon a trip in the South East and being able to access our room early was a big bonus. Easy to find and short drive to downtown.

Before we checked in we went to the beach. My child’s insulin pump broke in the water and there was no way to give her insulin or control her diabetes. We rushed to check in and figure out how to manage her diabetes out of town. The front desk was so supportive and listened to me as I was so upset. They quickly got us in our room. After we got the doctor to send prescriptions to pharmacy there, the front desk made sure I knew how to get to the pharmacy (it was a Saturday evening and we needed to use a pharmacy in North Charleston due to early closing of other stores). When we got back to the hotel, they asked again if we got everything figured out and if we needed anything. The next morning when we were checking out, the same lady was there and asked again if my child was ok. The customer service was beyond what I ever expected. They remembered us every time and asked if we were ok. The hotel room was perfect, bathroom was huge, and we loved the Dove toiletries! The breakfast was over the top amazing! The lobby had a lollipop tree you could take one from. It was just as much the small touches and the huge touches that made this hotel stand out from the rest! These women that helped me check in need recognition for the way they went over and above the entire stay! We are very thankful!

No water at the hotel pipes broken! It’s disgusting my Vera wang suitcase was stolen out of my car

Check in was fast and informative, place was very accommodating, clean, bed was super comfortable, room was quiet, close to a restaurant, which was great, all in all a wonderful experience and I will be back…..
