I stayed here for 1 week in June with my husband & 2 children aged 18 & 21. The hotel is very modern as it’s not long built. spotless clean and updated decor! Our room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels everyday also! It is a family run hotel and honestly they couldn’t do enough for you. The pool area is a little on the small size, but it caters for the size of the hotel, so was perfect for us! The hotel is situated in the heart of Tsilivi. A walk to the food/bars/restaurants is at the bottom of a small Lane within the hotel. The beach is 5 mins away from the hotel. And a beautiful beach at that!! The only down fall I would say is there is no lifts in the hotel, so if you have mobility issues there is quite a few steps to get up if your located on the 1st floor. Air conditioning is charged at €16 a day. This was def needed for our room as the temperature outside was reaching 31o some days. Well worth the money! Breakfast is a small selection of eggs, beans, toast & cheese, coffee & juices and fruit. Not a massive selection but sets you up for the day. They have a selection of other food on there menus! Can I just give a shout out to all the staff at hotel Irene especially the maid, she works very hard, as do they all!! We will definitely be back one day!!

Its strong point, the location!! I stayed at this property for 12 days, as the title suggests, its strong point is the location, in the center of everything. The ancient Venetian port, the nerve center of nightlife and restaurants is a 5-minute walk away, the beaches a 5/10-minute walk away, a supermarket a 2-minute walk away. Everything is close but below the hotel there is no ****** of the center, I would say perfect!! Let's get to the negative sides… small rooms furnished in a spartan way, small old bathroom with uncomfortable shower and no bidet! On the other hand, very efficient air conditioning, fridge with small freezer and small balcony overlooking the sea. Efficient and punctual cleaning. Comfortable and king-size mattresses, less comfortable pillows. Very friendly, smiling and helpful staff. Breakfast very monotonous and not very rich. Car park 3 minutes on foot.

This hotel is quietly located close to the historic city of Chania. We had a spacious room. Breakfast boxes are prepared if you leave early in the morning, for example to Samaria Gorge. Breakfast is varied. Very quiet location in a residential area. Also not far from the beach.
