Changwon Hostels

I used Grand City Hotel Changwon for business trip, and I spent the day satisfied with the price :) Close to Changwon Central Station, the distance is also reasonable !!

This is a newer hotel that is good for westerners in Changwon. Modern interior, but smaller front desk operation. The rooms have good ac and walk in shower. Smaller storage space. Breakfast can be included with the price. Good breakfast and coffee machine for me. Ask for a small omelette. I have stayed various places in Changwon and this is good, price conscious as well. The downtown area is closer to big stores for trip related items and many small downtown restaurants that are excellent, authentic.

What I like about Grand Mercure Ambassador is that they never lack the Hospitality that I need whenever I am abroad. From the reception staff, housekeeping and the restaurant, they are all very kind, courteous and helpful. The rooms and facilities on some floors were renovated. And the location is still one of the biggest positives of this hotel. Food assortment is still a little bit of issue specially if you are staying more than 3 days. Nevertheless, It is an excellent hotel with wonderful people.

I have always had a soft spot for this place because they have good Filipino bands playing in the basement restaurant. I finally stayed at this place years after visiting it. It was a nice place to stay, with friendly and efficient people. I wanted to stay again but for some reason the price spiked the following week so I had to opt for a cheaper place. It is hit or miss if it is within range of what I am willing to pay for a hotel of that quality. Overall, it is a good place and I hope to stay there again.

Close to Lotte Mart Lotte Department Store nearby. The downtown area of Sangnam-dong is a walkable distance or a little walk to get on the bus The facilities are definitely clean because it is new, but the hair of the front guests remained in the spot, but it wasn't too much to worry about. The staff were friendly and kind. I think I will book without worrying about staying again next time.

Because I don't have a phone card for a business trip, I can't call a taxi. The front desk is very considerate to help me call a taxi. But it seems that the suite is not as spacious and bright as the ordinary double bed room haha, the breakfast is also good 😌

This hotel is great! Located in a quiet and beautiful area near a beautiful lake. Our room was nice and very clean with all necessary amenities. Excellent service and very helpful staff members. Wonderful breakfast in AM. My husband and myself enjoyed greatly our time in this hotel.

Pros: Good water pressure. Good location of hotel. Lots of restaurants around Cons: The wedding hall is on the high floor, so the use of Elbe is not smooth at weekend wedding peak time. Wedding guests burst into Elbe at check-out time... The worst is breakfast. It was 7-9 o'clock operation time and I visited at 8 o'clock, and even if the customers with the tickets stood at the entrance, the staff just looked at and served. When I asked, I came and asked me to stand for 15 minutes because the order was pushed. Waiting? There are many empty seats, can't you sit and wait? I couldn't distinguish it, so I went to the hotel room and waited and came in 15 minutes. There were more than 50 seats in the empty seats, but the staff seemed to be a lack of Capa covering the order. If you can't respond to the number of staff and the number of customers, you can separate the seats that you can order rather than the suggestion to wait in the hotel room and reduce the inconvenience of moving to the remaining waiting seats. It looks more wise. So I waited in the hotel room for 15 minutes, and 2 menu materials were exhausted out of 5 menu.
