The hardware is good, but the service feels a bit cold and greasy (yes, these two feelings can be combined, the opposite of it is kind and natural), so the stay is not very comfortable. It is not very convenient to take a golf cart when going out for activities inside the hotel. For vacations, you have all the hardware you want, but the only thing missing is a relaxed and relaxing atmosphere, which is often the most needed for vacations. If you want to go out, you can only ask the front desk to help you take a taxi. All the people who come here are huge SUVs. They start at 20 to 30 dollars in a few minutes. The fare for a meal is more expensive than the meal.

The location of the hotel map is wrong. If you take a taxi to see Google Maps, this low-level error should not be. In addition, Ctrip specials only include one person with meals, an additional person, the hotel charges an extra 146 US dollars

I booked this hotel room on Hot Wire. I recognized the hotel picture from a previous search on a different site. I believe the other site had it listed for $96/night, but on Hot Wire I paid $65/night, for 5 nights. In addition to the hotel cost I paid $15 in taxes. I was super excited about the deal I got. Well, was I surprised when I got there. The amenities list on Hot Wire included Wi-Fi, but the room was not equipped with Wi-Fi. However, there was Wi-Fi in the common areas i.e., the pool area and an area they call El Jardin (the garden). Hot Wire never said the room includes Wi-Fi, but it would have been nice to know upfront. I believe it was neglectful on their part. I needed to be connected for work on a couple of days. If I would have known I wasn't getting access to Wi-Fi in my room I would have not booked a room elsewhere. Luckily for me Dolores, who appeared to be the reservations/reception manager put me in a room that would most likely get a Wi-Fi signal, and it did. I was placed in room 3104 and was able to connect to the pool area Wi-Fi from my room, most of the time. Thank goodness for Dolores. When I read the reviews on Tripadvisor I called in advance to voice my concerns about the Wi-Fi. (Thanks to all of you who mentioned that in your reviews.) It was imperative that I have a Wi-Fi connection. She said she would take care of it and she did. Thanks Dolores and Crew. Dolores and her team were kind, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I did have a problem with the AC - it was too noisy. Also, there was a leak coming from one of the light fixtures in the bathroom (pics). I called the reception desk and they came in a matter of minutes. Honestly, it was less than 5 minutes for both instances. The customer service was phenomenal. Unfortunately, the rooms were not. My room was a standard room. I got what I paid for. It had everything I needed; clean room, fridge, AC, clean towels and linens every day, great pool and beach view and a great attentive staff. My only disappointment was the Wi-Fi, oh and did I mention I had no TV. Now, I don't go on vacation to watch TV, but on this particular trip it would have been nice to have the option, due to all the rain. It rained practically everyday thanks to hurricane Agatha. TV was another amenity Hot Wire had listed. NOT TRUE.. And it wasn't due to the weather. You see, I met a lovely couple at the Hotel and they had great internet and TV connection. Their room was equipped with a working TV and a modem/router, which both worked so that got me thinking, 'WTF is going on?' I thought about the reviews I read on Tripadvisor and Google and I couldn't understand why they were at both ends of the spectrum and I started to ask around and found out why. The building itself is composed of 4 other ”administrations” as per the staff. Some rooms have been upgraded and modernized while others have been left in their original state with a few minor upgrades,

Let me get the bad out of the way which is only that they did not answer the phone. Also the escalator and elevator going up did not work. This was frustrating as I was trying to coordinate transportation to get there and carrying my bags upstairs was exhausting. Now the good which is so much! The place is super clean and very well designed. The whole capsule idea is genius! It feels like I’m going into a bunk on a spaceship. For how small it is there was plenty of room to feel comfortable. There’s a TV a hook, and even a pull out table! The bathrooms and showers were very clean. I love how quiet it was. I had a wild time in Cancun and I wanted this to respite before my flight. It stays 62 degrees which is cold for me but they graciously offer blankets. Breakfast is included. I don’t eat breakfast so they made me a plate to go. I thought that was super nice. I wish there were more of these around the world. Awesome experience!

something terrible I was with my husband for 3 days, unfortunately it was not possible to cancel the booking, air conditioning on the floors does not work the hotel in the lobby looks great if you go to the 1st or 2nd floor it smells so damp that you can't stand the smell, the same smell is in the room . saving on air conditioning they spoiled the whole beautiful hotel as carpets, curtains and furniture dragged with damp. Our first room smelled so bad that it was impossible to sleep in it, on the second day we got a second room with a fridge full of sand and hair, sand in the bathroom, we didn't have any more strength to admonish, we just left the hotel the next morning. If you land in Mexico early in the morning forget you will get a room for 3 even if it's vacant and your status is titanium. At breakfast there were no plates of coffee cups, point 10 they even took water which is insane at these temperatures. very low level of service! ar the hotel really and the rooms are beautiful! It's just a pity that the staff doesn't know how to take care of it! Staff very rude!

My husband and I have stayed here 3 times, after we fly into Cancun, and before we start our actual vacation each year. I highly recommend booking a room in advance. It's the best way to get the kind of room you want, and at a reasonable price. Also less expensive to book through Trip Advisor, or another booking company. If you book through Hampton Inn, it'll cost more.
