COCKROACHES!!!
I was woken up at 1:30am with a cockroach crawling across my pillow and onto my face. Disgusting!
30 mins later another one appeared. I was using my shoe to kill them. (See pics attached)
I decided to leave the light on to see if that made a difference. It did slow them down for a while but at 4:30am another one ran across the bed.
I decided to sleep in my car and left in the morning, never to return.
The motel looks ok on the outside, BUT remember, once the light goes out, the cockroaches WILL come out.
Advice: Just stay somewhere else if your not a fan of cockroaches. Plenty of other motel choices In Bundaberg

The room was an upstairs room which we were not advised of the stairs were very steep and hazardous particularly as they were exposed to the weather, and it rained that evening The balustrade was basically a round metal pipe The room was so small it was more suited to a single bed as the double bed was pushed into a corner.The fridge motor was so noisy all night This would be worst motel room I have ever stayed in

The room and bathroom was very clean throughout, very comfortable bed and friendly service. We got the best rate by booking directly with the motel. It was not noisy even though it was close to the main road. The WiFi password was out of date though.

Terrible, rude, inconsiderate owners and staff. Booked in advance and stated late arrival (long car journey). Issue with card via booking website - updated card and all was fine. Within an hour of arrival we received email that booking was cancelled. We immediately called and was told they tried to contact us (did not receive any call, text nor additional email). I said we’re nearly there and will pay on arrival. She stated she’d have to “ask the owners” and phone me back. No call back received, so phoned hotel again as we were minutes away, and was told owners gave the room away and promptly hung up the phone, so we were left stranded. In all my years of extensive travel, I’ve never experienced such behaviour. This is a terrible way to do business!

Perfect stop over during our short stay in Bundaberg. We were camping but needed shelter due to huge storm system and were very grateful for a convenient location. Clean room, lovely staff. Will definitely stay again!

I found all of the Staff very friendly and very obliging. The room was extremely well presented. The location made it easy for me to travel around Bundaberg. Would recommend this Motel to anyone. The best part it is priced right. Cheers

This place is a little gem . Kitchenette in room was a bonus. Microwave, cooktop and sink. Even though we ate out. It was great to have it available for breakfast. Room was delightful, comfortable and very clean. As my specialty is hospitality, I thought the Charm city motel was exactly that . Charm! Congratulations to the owners. 👍

The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Will definitely return. This was the second time i have stayed and can recommend this place highly. There is good off-road parking too which I a bonus

Absolutely loved our stay. You pay extra for an upgraded room but don't always get what you pay for but we DID at Charm City!! Huge shower with a good showerhead, AMAZINGLY soft bed AND spotlessly clean. To top it all off it was on the main road so very convenient but VERY quiet. Thankyou so very much for a fantastic stay
