The air conditioner is garbage. The waiter helped me to take a break for a long time and stopped for a while, and told you that the air conditioner was stopped, so he slammed the ceiling connected to the air conditioner behind the bathroom. What the hell? Even if you don't change your room, the floor is not very clean.

…..But quite ordinary. We booked this in the middle of the city to be able to visit family. While it is fairly central, the hills and stairs in the area made it tough going. The room was a good size, with a huge bed and a good-sized bathroom, which actually had a bath! We loved the big balcony outside too. Very useful. But when it came down to it, it became obvious that routine maintenance is not being done. The phone in the room had been damaged, and didn’t work, the air con was stuck on the winter setting, so no cool air, and if the tap in the bathroom sink was turned on any more than a gentle drizzle, the whole area would get sprayed! The lifts were a bit iffy too, and weren’t always working. Bit tough, as we were on the top floor. We gave up complaining eventually, as we were only there for one night. The whole place has an air of neglect, as if the owners really don’t want to spend money on it. Such a shame, as it has the potential to be a stunning hotel.

Was told that my booking was cancelled at 8pm the night before my trip to Brisbane due to a ‘change in management’. Absolutely disgusting customer service that almost left us with nowhere to stay due to the high demand in accommodation this weekend. Do not stay here unless you want me to left on the streets or paying mega bucks for last minute accommodation. Shocking that you could do that to people and probably just so you can make some extra $$$. 😡😡😡

Hotel brands itself Best Western which is fraudulent according to Best Western as it is not affiliated. I have stayed previously and some rooms are ok but when I stayed with my wife a few days ago we got a shocker of a room, disgustingly dirty and poorly maintained, toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly for weeks, a power outlet was hanging from the wall, soap and shampoo dispensers had been removed and no milk provided. Our booking request a double or a Queen and we got twin beds.

Wow what a site! It is so outdated I cannot even tell when was the last renovations here. No breakfast, no in room dining, nobody gave any Wi-Fi at the reception, phone does not work in the room. The interior is another story! Old, dirty curtains, old furniture, no toiletries provided (tooth paste etc).Dust everywhere in the room. Seems like there is only one person at reception and the other staff just does not exist. This is such a slap to the hospitality image in Brisbane.

Day Use Brisbane City I booked this place to have somewhere to rest and relax between appointments in the city and where my husband could work comfortably In between. The entrance and foyer were lovely and classic but the studio room we were given on the 7th floor was decrepit. The door didn’t lock, the facilities were disgustingly dilapidated, the bathroom sink was ringed by black mould, the curtains were mouldy on the back which was very noticeable from the small balcony and the lighting was so bad that it was very unsuitable for working on a computer. One good thing was the coolness of the airconditioner We stayed long enough to have a rest for a couple of hours but couldn’t bare to stay any longer. Was a waste of $95 (+ $5 key deposit). I wanted to give this boutique hotel a try because it looked nice from the outside but looks were disappointingly deceiving. Next time I need a day use room in the city, I’ll pay more to stay at one of the quality hotels I’m used to.

On arrival the bar and restaurant are not working. As we entered our room 1210 there is an awful musty smell which I cannot fathom where it was coming from. We opened the doors to the balcony and sprayed some deodorant around to freshen up the room. There was cracked tiles in the bathroom and kitchenette and stains on the bed base and dust coating the top of the air con unit that even I could see at 5 ft tall. Really disappointed, we stayed here years ago and it was lovely, it’s far from it now.
