Stayed here a few times for junior golf events. Thought it would be the same good time with my son and his college roommates. Tried to make res through website. Didn’t work. Tried to reserve over the phone. Didn’t work. Spoke to a different person the next day. Didn’t work. Told me I had to pay hundreds more. So I asked for manager to call me. They said no manager on property on a Sunday, but the manager would call me the next day. No call. No reservation. Nothing. How does this place stay in business? If I was the owner, I’d clean house. PS - my neighbor, who I recommended to m this place, confirmed his reservation before arrival only to find out he had no reservation and was forced to stay 45 minutes away. Yeah, they comped everything, but they couldn’t makeup the hours he lost behind the wheel with his entire foursome. Quite a memorable experience ….

The resort is geared towards golf and excels at providing beautiful courses. I tagged along with my partner and I myself do not golf, so this review is more for those who are looking to come to perhaps enjoy the resort. I would not come back for purposes of enjoying the resort. While the scenery is beautiful if you are not going to be participating in golf or boating, you may find yourself a bit underwhelmed. My partner loved the courses and has played all three, they also offer a more low key course called the Chain that seemed great for golf groups. There were several bartenders and servers throughout who were excellent - rooftop 360 and fin and feather bar. Cleanliness- Overall the cleanliness was lacking, rooms were dusty and daily service was underwhelming. Bathrooms were not cleaned and trash not emptied. The pool bathroom was covered in cobwebs and had not been swept in sometime. Food- there are no local options outside of the resort and no real convenience store. Canyon Lake Steakhouse had the best food from what we tried. I will say that the food feels like elevated bar food. They do a good job of making accommodations and providing a good variety of options. Spa- the spa is small and I felt the service was average. There were no attendants inside the spa -only front desk check in. Aside from the locker room everything is co-Ed. There are no designated changing rooms so you can use a bathroom stall or shower. It has a very grotto feel and offers sauna, steam room, varying temperatures pools and cold plunge type pool. Pool- when we arrived the bartender at the pool could not be more bothered to have guests. The service was not typical of a resort pool. They have complimentary cabanas and a few tables to eat at. The pool itself is beautiful.

I was just in Australia playing Barnbougle- Lost Farms - Ocean Dunes and Cape Wickham for very reasonable cost of under 150 usd - including carts. Wonderful courses on incredible coastline Little shocked that Streamsong is 419 plus 35 cart plus effective 90 for forecaddie. When i played in 2019 - think it was 150 a game Private equity ownership just pushing up the cost of golf Barnbougle is a challenge and easy to lose a ball and memorable Streamsong is just wide open i hit the driver everywhere and still hit 12 of 14 fairways. I gather that is the plan to make the average golfer feel good about hitting their huge greens in regulation. Still why am i paying a massive premium to play here in the middle of nowhere. Generally have to stay 35 minutes away is a average little town Not worth it. Would not play again for 50 pct of the cost I only came because i had a free golf coupon from Schwab. The place was very busy - so people clearly have the money - dinner at Canyon lake was very good.. Still bottom line is would rather play somewhere else with more of challenge. Will be interesting to see how they do when the next recession hits

Had dinner at Sotto Terra it was absolutely stunning. From the food to the service it was beyond phenomenal. Not to mention the takeaway cookies!!! Highly recommend anyone staying on property to dine at Sotto Terra the Italian Fine Dining outlet.

Golf courses are amazing. Unfortunately, the service at the Lodge is poor. Rooms are well appointed, but they got my breakfast order wrong. Then, they told me to leave the tray outside my room, and unfortunately, it’s still there when I got back from my golf round five hours later. Disappointing. I really wanted to give this place a good review.

We enjoyed a 4 night stay at StreamSong Resort 13 - 16 February 2024. My recommendation is that if you love an excellent resort with amazing golf GO! There are no disappointments at StreamSong. The staff at the resort is amazing, the golf courses (3) are a challenge and beautiful … elegant and manicured are good descriptions and the ladies tees are fair and a reasonable challenge. It’s an easy drive from either Tampa or Orlando. Nothing else to do at StreamSong but play golf, shoot skeet, fish or archery or eat…but it is mostly about the golf. There is a beautiful pool and a great spa. Several restaurants on the property…all are excellent. Don’t miss breakfast at Fin and Feathers in the morning in the main lodge. Tips: StreamSong isn’t an inexpensive trip ….but in the evaluation of price vs quality …they rank 5 stars. If you fly in rent a car— transport in and out is difficult to coordinate unless you are with a larger group. It is about an hr and half drive from Orlando depending on traffic. Easy shuttle transport among the different courses provided by the resort…download their app Highly recommend this resort and we intend to come back as often as possible.

significantly overpriced ($450) for the experience. i've played many higher end courses and this one is not, rather it fits in around a tier two or three course. Many other options that are better quality and better experience. I will not return, the value is not at Streamsong.

I don't write too many reviews but I am compelled to write this one to educate the golfing community. Folks, you have a ton of better options to play golf in Florida. I am a FL resident and an avid golfer. Lot of golfers from the Northeast US and the Midwest make golf trips to FL during the winter time and this review for you all those visitors. We want you to come to Florida and we love it of course when you do but avoid Streamsong like a plague. I played Streamsong recently and I will tell you that the courses at Streamsong are nothing to write home about. Apart from the golf itself here is a bizzarre story I will share. Before the round even started, without my approval they switched my clubs and moved all my clubs into another bag. I was shocked. Reason they gave me was that the other bag was easier for the caddie to carry. Who does that? I have my own way of setting everything in my bag and without my permission they moved all my clubs to another bag. Moreover the caddies here are not good at all. I have played at a lot of courses around the globe where you get a caddie but this is by far the worst caddie place I have experienced. You are forced to get a caddie who carries your bag but they don't do anything that you expect from a caddie. We all can get distances with our instruments but the caddie is supposed to tell you the nuances of the course and also read the greens. At Streamsong the caddies have no clue. The one I was assigned was drunk at 11 AM when we started the round. I could smell his liquor breath from 5 feet away. This is not what you expect from a $500 round. I want to spread the word in the golfing community through reviews on various sites and also through word of mouth. Take your money to a better place where you get the value and can have much more fun.

Outstanding facility. World class golf. Lodging is top notch. Our group was 20+. All staff from front desk, valet and club houses were all friendly, efficient and helpful. Golf is challenging with wonderful Vistas. Facilty offers fishing and other guided outdoor activities besides golf. Very remote location eliminates the world's distraction. Well worth the expense.
