Clean, renovated, nice place to stay in the capital of North Dakota

Staff was great to work with. Room was updated and clean. Overall a good experience and reasonable prices for a last minute work trip, where they accommodated an unexpected extra night due to weather!

We just needed a quick stop between Billings and Fargo for one night. The front desk staff was very polite and made the check-in process easy. Our room was clean and comfortable with a fridge, microwave, TV with cable, and a coffee maker.

Overall, this is a great place to stay. The room we were in had a bit of a strange set up but it was big and comfortable. Breakfast was quite sufficient for the price. Id suggest this to anyone looking for a basic hotel stay!

Thin walls, crazy lady out front in the evening. Felt bad for the front desk lady that had to deal with the issue.

As always like this motel. The breakfast is great. This stay only problem we had was getting keys to work. Requested new keys twice. Other guests had problem with Door A too.

This property punches well above its weight. The room was very clean and had everything I needed, the location was convenient, the staff was friendly, and the price was right. This will be a go-to pick on future visits to Bismarck.

After I checked in to my room I sat in my vehicle to have a cigarette before carrying my bags in as it was cold outside. I noticed a vehicle parked by the office with their headlights on. I was just finishing my cig and a cop car pulled in and approached my vehicle as I was getting out and grabbing my bags. I asked them what's up and they said they have problems with people sitting in their cars doing *****. I told them I had a cig and was just going up to my room. I was here because husband had a medical appt and so I was alone. They continued to shine a flashlight all around the inside of my pickup which I didn't appreciate one bit. I told them if Id have known that I wld not have stayed here and was leary about the place after seeing it in the first place. The price was way to much for the room almost $74.80 I will not stay here again. I believe the vehicle with headlights on was the front desk and they called the cops. I felt unsafe the rest of the evening and didn't sleep well because of it. I was scared to go back out and have another cigarette because of what happened. The cops were rude also just a terrible experience. I've stayed in many different hotels and they have never had a problem with me sitting in my vehicle to smoke.
