Beijing Asian Games Village Bird's Nest Meilun Hotel

Asian and Olympic Games Village Area Beijing|0.73km from Yafei Mansion
at checkin I asked for a free upgrade (like I always do, because you never know unless you ask), but nobody could speak even a little English, so the staff didn't understand me. when I came into the room, it was one without windows. first I didn't care much, but it was unbearable warm (28 degrees) inside and even after 2 hours with AC on full power, it didn't get cooler. so I asked to change the room and double checked on my booking, turned out I in fact got downgraded at checkin. I did get a new room with window, but same problem with heat over there, AC not working at all (picture taken in the morning after whole night set to 18 degrees), although the window helped a little. outside it was around 20 degrees in daytime and 10 in the nighttime, but the window was just too small to exchange enough air with outside, especially when the curtain is closed. I don't want to imagine the room temperature in summer, when you have outside temperatures of 35 degrees in the daytime and 25 in the night... for this price I didn't expect to get such a bad service and environment. other thoughts: very nice and modern design and very clean. the doors are not very soundproof, you can hear every voice loud and clear, when people talk in front of the door. the location is okay, you have a subway station ”nearby” (10 minutes walk), but nothing really interesting in the direct neighbourhood. breakfast I didn't try, so I cannot say anything about it. gym is a joke and only good for taking a picture for your WeChat moments. all in all I'd say there are way better options in this price segment and I wouldn't come here again.

Complete hotel and easy for foreigners. The location is good, it is next to main road. Easy to get taxi, bus, near shops and restaurants. The facilities are complete from hi tech robot service and digital control room. The breakfast also good and free flow coffee, tea, candy, small fruit, poridge for 24 hours. Washing machine and a treadmil machine are available for public service. Computer for business tools also provided. The staff are so friendly. I recommend this hotel in Beijing. I think true go hotel chain maybe has similar standard in China.

This place is still more convenient from various attractions. You can scan a small yellow car at the door to the subway station, and then take the subway to the Forbidden City Temple of Heaven. The landlord is also very good, the reply is very timely, and the feedback is very timely to help solve the problem.

I stayed here for two nights again in 2024, but I can’t comment on the latest order, so I will comment on this first “to be reviewed” order at the end of 2023! The hotel is very clean and the location is very good. It is surrounded by residential buildings and is very quiet. There are many restaurants nearby, including old Beijing fried noodles hahaha~ The price-performance ratio is really high, and the guys and girls at the front desk are super gentle. Because I have been here many times, the staff on every shift have felt it, hahahaha. There is a large ”pot” of oranges at the front desk, which you can eat for free! And free tea! The orange robot is also very cute and will ride in the elevator with you hahaha. The breakfast is delicious ~ I recommend the noodles! ! ! This picture is breakfast~
Hongwei Yijia Hotel (Beijing Asian Olympics Village)

I stayed in the whole season in Rizhao before, and the environmental services were good. When I came to Beijing, I chose the whole season. Compared with the hotel prices in Beijing, it is relatively cost-effective. The breakfast is also good, and the service staff is very good, and the check-in There are no restrictions on personnel. I booked other hotels before, and children are only allowed to live in parent-child rooms. I think it is not safe for children to sleep in a narrow bed by themselves. It is determined that there is no restriction in the whole season. Disposable items will be provided according to the number of people. There are adults and children. The room is very spacious, and the bed is quite big, so you don't have to worry about the child rolling down. Anyway, it's great!
7 Days Inn Bird's Nest Stadium (originally was 7 Days Inn 2nd Branch of Olympic Village)

Atour Hotel Yayuncun National Conference Center

Atour's room has always been clean and tidy, so I won't say more about this. This time I would like to thank a little brother in the hotel. I lost a pair of shoes when I checked out. The little brother contacted me actively. Since I had already left Beijing at the time, I could only ask for mailing. The little brother readily agreed and accepted. When I arrived at the shoes, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a pair of socks left in the hotel. I was so grateful and embarrassed that it was difficult for my brother to send the shoes and socks. Atour’s service is really meticulous. When I go to check in, the front desk staff will take the initiative to pour tea, go to wash clothes, and find that there is a laundry bag in the closet. I sit in the lobby and play with my mobile phone. It's pretty far). In short, it is a heart-warming living experience, and Atour will be given priority when staying in hotels in the future!
