The owner of the store is warm and thoughtful, and cooks a nutritious and delicious breakfast. The courtyard house is clean and hygienic, and the decoration is also very fashionable. The price is also reasonable. It is also very convenient to take a walk around or take a bus to go shopping. Highly recommend this homestay to everyone.

We have had a very great experience by staying at HouHaiYuan Hotel with the following reasons: 1. Great location - this hotel is located at 前井胡同,which is a very quiet and serene location. However, it is just a 5 minute walking distance to one of the moat popular tourist attractions - 烟袋斜街,and it is also walking distance to 南锣鼓巷 (about 15 min) and to 恭王府 (about 10 min). It is a walking distance to train station 2. Cleanliness & housekeepong - the room is very clean and every items in the room are free for use, including the beer and drinks in the mini bar 3. Service - the service of the hoteliers are superb! They are very helpful and they were trying their best to assist us in many areas, including helping us in arranging transportation and also our food order as we were unable to do it ourselves due to we are not having a phone line in china.

I highly recommend this place. The frontdesk staff, 佳雯 and 萱萱 were very sincere and helpful. They patiently shared with us the good sights and foods in the vicinity, and would always warmly welcome us when we arrive back at the hotel at the end of the day. This made us feel very much at home. What's unique about this hotel is their additional goal of promoting shadow puppet heritage to its guests, without seeking to sell anything. Every few nights, there would be a free shadow puppet performance show for guests done by the hotel staff. Unlike other hotel where the staff are purely focused on administering hotel operations, the staff here are actually disciples practicing shadow puppet art. We were lucky to also be invited to paint our own shadow puppet, which was a refreshing and immersive experience. Their manager, 二姐, gave us an introduction to shadow puppet painting and we had a fun time painting alongside other hotel guests. My friends and I stayed in the standard double room and standard room in mid December 2023. We expected our rooms to be small based on the photographs, but it turned out to be much better than expected. Toilets were clean and the beds were comfortable. Will definitely come back to this place the next time I visit Beijing. 谢谢二姐,佳雯,萱萱在我们入住期间的热情招待。 - Guests from Singapore

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the doors, the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The hotel's location was perfect. The hotel's cleanliness and attention to detail were also highly commendable. We left an AirTag at the hotel. The staff went looking for it several times. They finally found it and offered to ship it to me for free. I am so grateful! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. It truly deserves five stars for its top-notch service, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic location. I can't wait to visit again!

About 200 meters through you can pass through the alley and walk to Huguosi Street. There is a red flower cake shop inside. Walking from Beihai Park and Prince Gong's Mansion, about 15 minutes. Cycling is about 5 minutes We left things in the store, and the store also took the initiative to contact.
