7 Days Inn (Beijing Temple of Heaven Dongmen Metro Station)

I stayed 31 nights during january 2024 at 7 days inn hotel. I chose this hotel because it was very close to the subway, in the center of Beijing and the heating system was good according to the reviews. I changed room the first day so I could have a little bit better room. The previous room had no universal charger and was very dark, the windows in front of a wall. My room was on the first floor, just next to the shared bathroom and to the water dispenser. The room was very big and quiet (unless people talk in the corridor), not a lot of light but some rooms has more sun light than others. No fridge inside but since it was january I put my food outside the windows if I wanted to keep it fresh. If you want to warm some food, you can use the microwage in the commun area but I never used it. The commun area is very close from the entrance door so it was very chilly. The staff was nice but almost no english. They explained to me how to use the washing machine and once the wifi was not working so they helped me. Internet was definetly not very good but I was able to watch youtube with my vpn. I will start now talking about the shared bathroom (which I already knew was shared when booking) but I didn't know the toilet would be squat toilets. I think if I knew before, I wouldn't choose this hotel. There was no lock in the toilets. The shower room has one and was very cold (because winter). The hot water was always there but I took my shower usually in the morning (so less people). The shared bathroom was dirty mostly because of clients that didn't clean after their buisness. There was regulary water on the floor so I was just going with my shoes on at some point. The washing machine was broken the first 2 weeks and then got replaced. I'm still a bit confused if clients can use it or only the staff, but I used it anyway. The area is maybe a bit empty at first but if you go to the Hong Qiao Pearl Market, in the basement there is a big food court where you can try chinese food (or subway and macdonalds). Overall I liked my journey in this hotel but I think it was too expensive for a shared bathroom this old and dirty. I paid 1000 euros for 31 days.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is good, just next to the tube station and the temple of Heaven, however this is the only positive thing about this hotel. It was dirty with just 3 toilets and 1 shower (per Men and another set for Women) this shared across an entire floor with possibly 20+ rooms. Our room was dirty and had hairs all over the floor. Initially we were given a room with a big king size bed but the door of the room was not closing and after the staff checked and tried closing the door with brute force, no jokes, they literally started kicking the door to get it to close, at almost 11pm, we were given another room, which usually should be an “upgrade” when the room you selected is not available, instead we got a room with smaller queen size bed. Of course no one in the staff was talking English, so had to rely on translators. I wouldn’t go return.

Combined wash room are very very bad. Not clean Doors are broken. Therefore I paid 100RMB extra per night for attached bathroom

Good value at a reasonable price. Good service. Is quite complicated to find the entrance the first time you arrive. Better indications in the entry from the street would be of great help.

It's really close to the train station and templo of heaven also It's close to the local markt Honqiao.

Average accommodation, completely adequate for the price-value ratio. Everything about the room was fine, but the breakfast is not worth it at all.

It‘s really a decent location and a affordable hotel. But the shared bathrooms and also the cleanliness could be way better. The room also smelled a bit dusty and wasn’t that nice. You basically get what you pay for. But if you do not have any high standards it should be totally fine.

Hotel location is near to the temple of heaven but the room I book is sharing toilet . Just the toilet is not well clean . Others amenities still acceptable and location also beside metro station

7 Days Inn offers decent rooms with comfortable amenities. However, the shared bathrooms are consistently unclean, which can be off-putting. On the positive side, the staff is approachable, and they provide a luggage storage service, adding convenience to your stay. Great location though
