We had an amazing stay at Shangri La for summer vacation with kids. Hotel is very safe and comfortable to stay with young kids. All staff is dedicated all day and night long to provide the best experience. Hotel and facilities are clean and well maintained. The swimming pool is amazing and kids can spend our on the slide. The beach is just across swimming pool. Breakfast buffet is a perfect mix of Chinese and Western breakfast to satisfy everyone. Dinner buffet is also amazing, including the wide sashimi/sushi/roll bar.

5 minutes walk from the old street where you can enjoy a night walk. Lot of seafood restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops. The front desk is very nice and welcoming, offered us free breakfasts where you can find a really good variety of food. and added our wechat in case needed any help. If you go there Mr Yuan yuan shan at the front desk will surely make you feel like home. He is so freindly and helpful.

The hotel is not big, but every corner feels carefully designed. The butler service is very considerate. He can contact the customer in advance to confirm the itinerary and prepare high-speed rail pick-up and pier pick-up. The driver will wait in advance and the service is good. I enjoyed my short trip to Beihai at the Crowne Plaza. The facilities met my expectations and I enjoyed the indoor swimming pool during the hot summer day. Breakfast provided a wide variety of assorted foods and hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating of foreigners. I didn't book a sea view room so the view was average, but the room had everything I needed to have a very comfortable stay. Hotel staff helped me place an order for McDonald's food as my travel to the hotel was late in the evening (by that time the hotels kitchen and restaurant had stopped operating for the day). They even had the delivery guy give the food to me at my room door for which they greeted me and apologised for the disturbance/inconvenience caused because their kitchen was not operational at that time. My money was well spent. I am happy 😁

All the beauty happened here unexpectedly. I booked a B&B on the day I arrived on the island, but the one I was looking for had no rooms. Meeting another island by chance was the biggest surprise this time. Standing next to the sea, the room is not damp at all, it is dry and comfortable. Lying down and listening to the sea, your fatigue is gone. The B&B has its own private beach and infinity pool. I still remember that night under the stars, listening to the sea in the pool and watching the fireworks on the other side. What more could I ask for. Looking forward to seeing you next time.

I have been to Beihai 3 times and stayed here all the time. The service attitude of the hotel is first-rate. It feels like home. The front desk is very polite. There are orange juice, biscuits and other snacks in the lobby. The breakfast is also very good, especially Ningchun City is right next to it. It’s solved. When it comes to eating, drinking and having fun, big brands are trustworthy. Will come again next time

Outstanding stay for a China beach trip. Very relaxing and quiet. Clean beach. Loved the seaview chalet - you’re steps away from the beach and ocean. The beach is public but it’s secluded so it feels private. Food was outstanding, especially compared to other places on the island. Drinks were reasonably priced. Areas of improvement. It would have been nice if there were a few beach chairs on the lower part of the beach/sand. The bed was too hard, especially for foreigner standards. By far the best place to stay on Weizhou Island! We will be back.

Great hotel, room and view were amazing!!! Free pickup and drop off to the fairy Station. Room was super beautiful, spacy, and the view was stunning. You can rent a electric scooter at the front of the hotel and just stroll around the island. Recommend to go to Wucai Beach for the sunrise. One problem - breakfast time is only 8:00-9:30. Personally I think it's a very short period for a vacation hotel and ends quite early. Also, once some food ends - they don't refill, it's just over. Came in at 9:10 and many things were finished. Other than the breakfast issue, everything was really great. Had a wonderful weekend here :)

We generally liked this hotel and stayed for 4 nights while in Beihai. The rooms are very spacious with bathtubs and other good amenities. They are also very clean, and the hotel also offers a good breakfast. The only issue was that it's winter and the rooms were cold. They would not heat up no matter what, and I had to use two comforters from two separate beds together to be warm at night. That was the only problem, but otherwise everything was good. The location is also very convenient.
