Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok

I had the pleasure of staying at The Montien for 3 weeks 2 months ago when on a company-booked trip. My room and bed were extremely comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and unobstructed views, quality amenities including a Nespresso machine. The Montien decor is modern, Thai style and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful, with plenty of variety. Pierre Pelletier, the Area General Manager and his team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding! Then this month when my family and I planned a vacation to Bangkok I picked this hotel as our base. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the sky and underground trains, many must-go-to restaurants, cafes, Siam Paragon, temples, Chinatown, night walks and more. We were welcomed with incredible 5-star Thai hospitality. Special mention to Khun Nu, her front desk team and night manager Khun Jew for handling flight delays, airport transfers and arranging pick up of lost luggage, Khun Tik for his world-class warm welcomes, Max’s regular assistance and taxi coordination, the ever-helpful and polite bellmen, Beer remembering our morning coffee preferences, Kae at Ruenton restaurant for looking after us at dinners, friendly Tanya at the lobby bar, the housekeeping team for keeping our 3 rooms impeccable and everyone who made our Bangkok vacation so memorable! It felt like our home away from home and we enjoyed our time here so much!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Silom Avenue Inn. It's a modest hotel, but the price is very affordable. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, and the breakfast was adequate. It is also very centrally located near Silom Road. We will stay again at this hotel, and we recommend it if you cannot afford one of the more luxurious hotels.

The environment is very good, the hotel room is not on the road, it is relatively quiet, you must swipe your card to enter the elevator and go downstairs, it is safe, well-equipped, good health, and often come here to live

Hotel locates in great location. Have everything around, like supermarket, massages, street markets, restaurants, cafe and money exchange or banks. Because of the good rate and rate included breakfast, we do not complain much as price just fair and good already. Bed mattress is for 3-4 stars hotels quality, I always feel the metal spring underneath when lying on. Bedding are clean, towels are clean. Just the water pressure is not good enough at all times. It is a Chinese capital run business, breakfast buffets offer Chinese dishes. Instant coffee and standard ice tea, milk tea for guests some breakfast choice. Better than nothing! Good for budget travelers.

Everything you need, squeezed into a cosy, clean, and modern room. Though the place is managed by a handful of staff, they do an excellent job of running the place. They were very helpful and friendly at all times. Felt the room was just right for one person. If its two people with luggage, you might feel a bit crowded. I stayed for two nights on the first floor and one night on the 3rd floor. If you have a big suitcase as I did, it will be torture to carry it up to three floors. Good news is that they plan to fix an elevator/lift soon. Lighting can improve. My second room had less lighting than the first. Once you get a general idea of the location, it's pretty easy to get around. Plenty of roadside restaurants nearby. The breakfast served at the hotel was lovely. The only issue that I came across was the metal shelves, close to the toilet door. The edges of the shelves are not so smooth. When you move around in a small space, you can easily bump into it and cut your self.
