Hey as an explorer of stays during business visit booked this at the last minute for a 3 night stay in the month of Jan 2020. Its a very simple and a small hotel tucked in the congested lane of Race Course however once inside the room it is silent. I do have to say its well designed to ensure that each floor at least has some 6 - 8 rooms. Once inside the room i felt the lighting was poor and the place doesn't ventilation. Further i found the sheets in pale yellow with a smoky smelling linens. Wifi bugs up a lot with regular log ins. Not much to play on TV as well . Basic toiletries and yeah do note its a Pure Veg stay. Did have their breakfast which was pretty okay with limited options and poor coffee. Also ordered dinner where the people in the restaurant didnt have any idea of what to suggest for a solo traveller. The lucknowi kofta has too much of masala considering the restaurant there had a 4.5* rating. In all a very average place & experience for me what could have been a decent choice for solo business traveller.

It was excellent.. Food was superb.. Ms Uma / Mr Water /VENKATESH All the staffs we done their part 100%.. When we are asking for Service Ms Uma is immediately responding and hearing our needs and act accordingly. House keeping was little bit slow.. Laundry was OK, they spoiled my trouser too. It was a delightful experience staying at Hotel Icon. The rooms were immaculate, and the bed provided unparalleled comfort. The hotel offered a diverse range of breakfast options, each exemplifying exceptional quality. I would like to extend special appreciation to Shruthi, who patiently addressed all my inquiries with utmost politeness and soft-spoken charm. Additionally, I would like to mention one minor point—the toilet setup appears a bit dated and lacks a shiny appearance.

Holiday Inn Express Whitefield is located in Whitefield locality, about 35 km from Kempegowda International Airport. My previous stays in Bangalore have all been around Marathalli area and for some reason all the hotels in that neighborhood were going much higher that week, so I decided to give this hotel a try. The room was quite small with the vanity area right next to the bed. The hotel being a Holiday Inn Express, has complimentary breakfast for all guests. Menu was mostly fixed for most days (did not have much variation). I was not too keen on the taste of quite a few Indian items lacking flavor (hard to do!!). Thumbs up: Excellent cash rates during my stay. Would probably stay again just for the excellent value compared to hotels in other parts of Bangalore Had very good luck getting Uber in the morning and evening. Thumbs down: Not a big fan of the breakfast. Quite a few items in the menu were very bland (hard to do when you are serving Indian food!!). Room was very small and space quite tight. Late Edit: After my initial writeup, I actually ended up staying at the hotel again. My brother lives around Marathalli area/Outer Ring Road and the hotel rates in this neighbourhood is outrageous. This Holiday Inn Express was going at a great rate and so I stayed for another week in May. It was overall a decent exprience and I would not hesitate to come back again for another stay in the future. Also during my May stay, the breakfast has improved much more than my February stay.
