Le Jardin Villas Seminyak

Seminyak Bali|0.28km from Seminyak Beach
I started to read the comments and thought that the hotel was free to pick up the plane. Before the actual departure, I sent an e-mail to the other party to request a reply. It was necessary to pay for it. 250,000 yuan, the road from the airport to the hotel was blocked. After check-in, I sent it to live. The waiter in front of the door also provided the foot washing service personally. I was very embarrassed and gave a tip. On the first floor of the whole house, there is a twin room on the second floor of the big bed room, and there are toilets upstairs and downstairs. I am very dissatisfied with the air conditioner, there must be a fault, I will produce ice on the floor, and I can only turn off the air conditioner before going to bed to prevent the huge abnormal noise from affecting sleep. . . One day, I came back at around 20:00 at night. I was very tired. When I opened the door, I found that there were at least 3 strange male waiters in the bedroom on the first floor. I saw that I told them that they were deworming, fighting medicine, and I am very embarrassed to ask where I am going to play today? Unfortunately, my English is not good. I don't know what the English language is. I don't even bother to chat with him. . I wonder why the potion is not working after the day out. Do you have to delay until so late? I will check out the next day. The reception desk also specially called to ask if I need a car. When I left, I declined their paid service. There is also a small variety of breakfast, about three or four can choose, British, Balinese, very simple, a plate of fruit in the refrigerator every day. . There are also many mosquitoes and flying insects, and many bites of mosquitoes are bitten. The mirror of the toilet will lead to a lot of lights. The feeling for me is that Villa is too primitive, feels like a homestay, this price is low price, but it is a family, living in a building is quite cost-effective.

Chandra Bali Villas

Seminyak Bali|0.51km from Seminyak Beach
We booked Chandra Villas as we had read great reviews online. It absolutely was as good as the reviews! We arranged our airport pickup through Chandra and were warmly welcomed right from the start. All the staff were outstanding, helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. We rented a 3 bedroom private pool villa for 2 adults and 4 children and it was perfect. The room sizes were very generous and each room had its own ensuite. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! Everyone had good privacy but could all come together in the large open plan lounge, family and kitchen area and to sunbathe and play together in the pool. The outdoor area was larger than we expected and the pool with ideal for 6 people - even long enough for the adults to swim laps! Each day the staff arranged to come in and clean the gardens and pool, put out mosquito coils, make the beds and tidy the bathrooms but they did it so well we hardly noticed they were there. Our breakfasts were really well prepared every morning by our chef and there was a great range of options to choose from. All the facilities worked perfectly and the air con was spot on (it was 32 degrees each day we were there). In terms of location, it was as described - about 500m to the nearest beach and about the same to Eat Street in Seminyak. We either walked or took Gojek's to each location which was super easy. The Chandra also offers a free drop-off service around Seminyak so we used this to go slightly further on our explorations. The lovely ladies on Reception helped us book trips and shuttles to other locations like Legian, Kuta and Nusa Dua. Chandra is located in a precinct that has a whole lot of other villa complexes in it too so it felt safe. There was a handy Circle K (convenience store), a coffee shop and some local spa / nail / hair salon options within a 5 minute walk too.

It’s taken me quite a while to right this review so my stay dates aren’t accurate but there isn’t an option outside of what’s offered on the feedback site. Having said that we first stayed at the Kresna when it was only in the rice fields and the beach side suites were under construction. The following year we came back and stayed at the new Villas near the beach. This became our pattern on a yearly basis. I think we stayed 4-5 times on subsequent years and always for 14-21 days, so I would say that we were very familiar the property and staff. We had always valued the location of this place as it’s incredibly convenient and has great access to both shopping, beach and a reasonable walk to the restaurant ***** so it ticks all the boxes. We also found it reasonably quiet and pleasant if not starting to become a tad tired and not well maintained with the passage of years and the Bali climate. On our last stay however, we booked the beach side villa for three weeks in April. The day after we arrived was a religious day in Bali and we weren’t allow to leave the grounds which was fine. The third day we had a phone call from the Gold Coast hospital and had to return immediately to Australia because of a family emergency. Basically we had to be on a plane within hours. When I went to reception what upset me the most was the complete lack of empathy at our situation. When I explained what was happening the first response was that they could not refund our 21 day stay. I mean really? That was the last thing that I was thinking of at the time and just needed some assistance in getting organised. In hindsight and given the fact that we had stayed there so often and they knew us I was pissed that the money was the first thing that crossed their minds. Of course I would have appreciated a partial refund, obviously it would take a little while to rebook our room but I can guarantee it didn’t stay vacant for three weeks. There wasn’t even an offer for a taxi ride to the airport. It was at that point that I came to terms with the fact that behind the smiles we’re really just a meal ticket. Consequently we’ve never stayed there again and it really left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Sarinande Hotel

My son and I used Sarinande as a base for excursions around Indonesia. This place is slowly recovering from covid, and as a result, their restaurant has not yet opened. Breakfast can be had a coffee shop next door, or at any restaurant five minutes walk away. The rooms were clean, although a bit worn. The hotel has a magnificent pool area, which actually does look like on the pictures. The pool is clean and the surroundings are beautiful. A great place to hang out. The Seminyak beach is only five minutes walk down the road. There are plenty of restaurants 5-10 minutes walk away. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They had no problem keeping some of our stuff for a few days, while we went on an excursion to Borneo. Since the hotel is located on a small side street, it is very quiet at night. No honking helps a good night's sleep. Sarinande is great value for money in Seminyak. If you require a spotless hotel with top notch service, this may not be your place. But if all you are looking for is a clean, hospitable place, Sarinande might be. I would definitely pick it again, should I return to Seminyak.

It's very spacious. You made your own breakfast in the morning and it was delicious. The location of the accommodation is a bit inside an alley, so I took a taxi. The accommodation was great during the day, but a bit scary at night. I was more afraid of thunder and lightning while I was sleeping. The room was a bit dark and uncomfortable. As soon as I opened the door, a frog came out and surprised me. There was a bathtub, so I had a half-bath and it was nice. The bathroom is outdoors, so it feels good, but why is the water so salty?

Gracia Bali Villas & Apartment

This was our first trip to Bali and we were greeted at the airport by our driver ”Putu” who was fun, educational and made us feel welcome and safe. He was provided by Gracia and we are so grateful for him during our trip. What a special person. Staff at the villa were amazing. You must have breakfast in your villa. Our private pool was perfect and we had everything we needed. We walked into town for activities and dinner but if it felt like too much coming home we would catch a GRAB driver. (20 min) We loved Bali! The people are so friendly and we always felt safe to walk at night. If you are planning a trip you should consider this beautiful resort! So much better than a hotel room our Villa was such a retreat, we loved coming home to after exploring Seminyak. Also the beach is seriously a 5 minute walk. What a wonderful experience. Don't forget about ”Putu” he was truly a blessing.
