The end of our stay was a real shame. They told me checkout was 11 am but rushed us to leave at 10. We paid for our stay, and then hotel manager tried to charge us 400,000.00 Indonesian Ruphiah extra for a towel that had some of my lipstick on it, and a pillow case that they say was stained. She then told us she would give us the ”discount price” and that we only had to pay 2,000.00. I went to the bathroom with said items and everything washed off immediately with JUST leftover water and hand soap. I went back and asked her ”you didn't even try, it's lipstick. You just want to squeeze a little bit more money out of us out of pure greed.” My family lives here I'm just here to visit them really. Having lived in Indonesia for years I understand what the manager was saying to the receptionist she said ”It's only 2,000.000 Rp what the they complaining about? It's nothing to them.” That's not the point. If you had just maintained your honesty I would of given your a glowing review, and not only came back but, directed some business to this location due to a large art group having disuccessed coming back and staying. But I get it. You are by monkey forest road. Your guests are just dollar signs to you. We were a little disappointed that you had major construction going on at your hotel at the time but we knew you guys couldn't help it so we were good sports about it... but to try to squeeze that little bit more cash out of us was just ugly. It shameful on you, your business and karma. Yeah good luck with that. To everyone else reading this, there are a million much better hotels in Bali where the managers are honest and not so deeply tarnished in greed. Don't fall into this trap. She intentionally put this mask on prepared to have a picture taken of her.

Saren Indah Hotel

The 14-day Indonesian itinerary has the best user experience of any hotel I've stayed at. Facilities; Superior double room, on the first floor of the detached villa. The room type is good. There is a balcony directly facing the pond where you can see the water lilies and the fields in the distance. If you use the bathroom in the afternoon, you can really experience bathing in the sun. The big bed is super large, and sleeping alone is just the sense of sight of a princess bed. Food: Breakfast is very rich, mainly Western-style. If you have a good appetite, you don't need to think about lunch after breakfast. In addition, the hotel's meals are not expensive. If you don't want to go out for food, you can eat at the hotel. The waiter's service is also in place. From time to time, I will help you clean up the plate and ask you how you feel about the meal, which is very good. Transportation; The hotel is located near Ubud's monkey zoo, there is a shuttle bus to ubud palalce, or a 15-minute walk. Hotel also offers paid massage service

Great location in the sleepy village of Nyuh Kuning on the other side of the Money Forest and a short scooter ride from central Ubud. The rooms are very clean and the bed comfortable. The hotel is discreetly tucked down a quiet laneway. The staff are fantastic and the price is very reasonable too. There are plenty of dining options within a shirt walk too.

The cottage is extremely comfortable. The bathroom is spacious with a great shower and always had hot water. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Annie and Wayan extremely helpful. The gardens are very beautiful and a great pool which is shared with other cottages but not really used so you will have it most of the time on your own. Breakfast is simple but tasty and served on your verandah at a time that suites you. A really charming place TheRealUBUD. The cottages are very near the monkey sanctuary and many places to eat and drink. Stayed 30/9 to 4/10

Stayed for four days and became an unforgettable and enjoyable memory of Bali. Our husband and wife brought four parents and lived in this family cottage. The garden outside is very beautiful and the pool is clean. The family cabin is large inside, with a large living room, a small yard behind, and a small kitchen, which is the mother's favorite. The bathroom, washbasin and bath are separate, so the four of us are not nervous. There is a welcome drink, and there is a free afternoon tea with different snacks every day. Three minutes walk is the Monkey Forest Park, 20 minutes to the Royal Palace and other downtown areas, very convenient. Going out to the right hand has a restaurant (picture 7), good quality and cheap, beer and supermarket prices, we have been there to eat. Going forward and there is a small school, the street is quiet and beautiful, you can walk and watch the sunset. The service of this hotel is also very good. It also has a comfortable spa in the hotel, which is also cheap. It is the most cost-effective hotel in my 11-day tour in Bali. Not enough. Strongly recommend it to everyone.

We stayed here for four nights in a room with a separate pool. The room was clean but the bed very hard. Because of this we woke up several times a night. In the evening the noise was not ending before midnight because of 'musicians' in the temple in the monkey forest. Every morning the noise started at 6 a.m. because one of the major scooter short cuts went just along the hotel. Sleep was no longer possible. The 'open' bathroom was a disappointment as well. Not well maintained, and you hear every sounds from your neighbors. The room also has no safe, which is standard today. The people were very friendly like everywhere in Bali. The breakfast was good. Beyond basic information the hotel staff was of no help at all. The were not even able to organize a taxi transport. We chose the hotel for its good recommendations and were very disappointed. We will certainly not come back to this hotel.
